  • Patent number: 11432470
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, and a vegetation management system each capable of managing vegetation in such a manner as to maintain a high quality state and achieve uniform growth. In a vegetation management system, an image acquiring apparatus acquires an image in which vegetation corresponding to a target of management is captured. An analysis unit analyzes the image as at least input information and outputs a predetermined analysis result. Then, a determination unit determines work contents to be performed for the vegetation, according to the analysis result. A work apparatus performs a process for executing work for the vegetation according to the work contents. For example, the present technology is applicable to a management system that manages natural grass.

  • Patent number: 8218501
Abstract: A communication terminal apparatus of a mobile type performs data transmission/reception via a network and changes access points based on data receiving conditions. The communication terminal apparatus is configured to acquire a MAC address of a next access point to which a communication terminal apparatus is scheduled to be connected next, broadcast a handover start message containing the acquired MAC address of the next access point, and perform a handover process on condition that the communication terminal apparatus receives a handover setting completion message from a data forwarding controller as a response to the handover start message.

  • Patent number: 7746873
Abstract: A virtual network prefix is provided as a dedicated prefix for a mobile node in a domain having a plurality of subnets. The domain includes a layered network that has a quasi-micro mobility network (QMMN) and a pure-micro mobility network (PMMN). The quasi-micro mobility network (QMMN) performs prefix-based routing, and the pure-micro mobility network (PMMN) performs routing using two different routing protocols, that is, prefix-based routing and host-based routing. In each network, processing for changing a route, such as changing cache data or the like, is performed depending on how a terminal moves.

  • Patent number: 7535840
Abstract: Information can be transferred while ensuring real-time characteristics without increasing the circuit size of an apparatus. A high-order layer packet is divided into a plurality of fragmented packets of fragment numbers, and these are transmitted via a wireless network. When an error occurs, if within a maximum permissible transmission process time, the fragmented packet of the same fragment number is retransmitted. For the high-order packet, since all the fragmented packets thereof could not be transmitted within that time due to the error, a halt flag is written into the fragmented packet of the next high-order packet.

  • Patent number: 7480274
Abstract: An apparatus and method that being capable of implementing uninterrupted communication during performing a handover process by a mobile node are provided. A mobile node transmits a handover start message containing address information of a destination access point, to a switch as a data forwarding controller, and the switch adds an entry to a MAC learning table based on the address contained in the message. The switch forwards packets addressed to the mobile node to a current access point of the mobile node as well as to its destination access point in parallel based on the entries in the MAC learning table. The mobile node can receive data packets at once upon connection to the new access point after having performed a handover.

  • Patent number: 7299063
Abstract: A wireless communication system of a simple configuration enabled to perform both data communication and accurate ranging. In the system, a second wireless unit receives a ranging signal after a lapse of a propagation time since a first wireless unit transmits the ranging signal. Then, after a delay of an image elimination period, the second wireless unit transmits a response signal. The first wireless unit receives the response signal after a lapse of a propagation time. Then, the first wireless unit obtains the propagation time, during which the signal propagates between the first and second wireless unit, according to an elapsed time since the ranging signal is transmitted. The distance therebetween is obtained by dividing the obtained propagation time by the velocity of light. Before the image elimination period elapses, in order to eliminate the physical reflection of radio waves, the first wireless unit is inhibited from opening a reception gate.

  • Patent number: 7127496
Abstract: A system capable of switching terminals while continuously receiving data on terminals monitored by a relay device such as a gateway. In devices such as a gateway for relaying data, the session status of the terminal under control is monitored and the relay processing status of data received externally over a network is changed according to requests such as pause, list, resume and call from a terminal, and the dynamic data address is changed or the relay of data is temporarily halted (pause). The present structure allows the user (client) to change the terminal receiving the data and change the receive processing status so that data can be continuously received on the terminal used after switching terminals.
