  • Publication number: 20140305153
Abstract: A cooling device for electric equipment includes a cooling unit for cooling inverter elements. Cooling unit includes a heat mass which has a surface provided with the inverter elements and a back surface arranged on a back side of surface to form a heat mass inner tank arranged between the surface and the back surface and transfers heat generated at the inverter elements, a fin portion which is provided on the back surface and radiates heat transferred through the heat mass, air-conditioner coolant pipelines which are provided on the surface and form a coolant passage through which a coolant for vehicle cabin air-conditioning flows, and a water pump which supplies and discharges coolant water to and from the heat mass inner tank. With such a configuration, a cooling device for electric equipment which is excellent in cooling efficiency is provided.

  • Publication number: 20140284043
Abstract: A cooling device for electric equipment includes a cooling unit for cooling an inverter element as a heat source. The cooling unit has a surface on which the inverter element is provided and a back surface disposed on a back side of surface, and includes a heat mass for transferring heat generated by the inverter element, an air-cooling fin provided on the back surface and radiating heat transferred through the heat mass, and an air-conditioner coolant pipeline provided on the surface and forming a coolant passage through which the coolant for vehicle cabin air-conditioning flows. With such configuration, a cooling device for electric equipment excellent in the cooling efficiency is achieved.

  • Publication number: 20140110490
Abstract: A vehicle includes a motor generator, and a heater core for adjusting a temperature in a vehicle compartment by using operating oil supplied to the motor generator. The heater core includes a tube in a first region that connects between an inlet portion and an outlet portion, a tube in a second region that connects between the inlet portion and the outlet portion, and a first adjusting valve for shutting off, where a temperature of the operating oil is lower than a prescribed temperature range, flow of the operating oil in the tube in the second region by being changed to a closed position, and for adjusting an amount of flow of the operating oil in the tube in the second region in accordance with the temperature of the operating oil where the temperature of the operating oil is within the prescribed temperature range.

  • Patent number: 5608169
Abstract: A hydraulic jack assembly is interposed between at least a pair of adjacent sections of the pile, and a hollow center is defined in a central region of the hydraulic jack assembly, thereby allowing communication between adjacent sections of the pile. Thus, concrete can be filled into the shaft without creating any voids, in particular around the hydraulic jack assembly. Therefore, the integrity of the pile is not compromised by the presence of the hydraulic jack assembly, and the testing device in no way detracts from the performance of the pile. The hydraulic jack assembly may consist of an annular arrangement of individual hydraulic jacks or may consist of a single cylinder device defining an annular cylinder chamber between a pair of coaxial, mutually slidable cylinders.

  • Patent number: 5013474
Abstract: A liquid crystal display device of the type in which thermo-writing is performed by means of irradiation of laser beams, the display device including a laser-sensitive liquid crystal composition exhibiting a maximum absorption at or near the wavelength of the impinging laser beam with which the display device is to be used. The specific improvement of the present invention comprises including in the liquid crystal composition at least two types of laser-responsive dyes, each being present in an amount less than its solubility limit in the liquid crystal composition, and each of the dyes evidencing a maximum absorption at or near the wavelength of the laser beam. In an embodiment, the dyes are chosen from the class of squarilium dyes.
