  • Publication number: 20090229593
Abstract: A heat-accumulating heater includes a powdery paraffinic latent heat storage substance sealed in a bag-shaped container. The bag-shaped container includes a plurality of inner container members formed of sheets impermeable to the heat storage substance and water and permeable to air. The inner container members are each received in one of first substantially rectangular outer container members made of rubber that are connected to each other in a row so as to be bendable relative to each other. An air layer is present between each inner container member and the corresponding first outer container member, thereby preventing the inner container member from being pressed against the first outer container member. The first outer container members are in turn received in a second outer container member made of cloth.

  • Patent number: 5169467
Abstract: According to the present invention, the ink occlusion material for writing utensils comprises a fiber bundle of a mixture of (a) and acrylic synthetic fiber and (b) at least one hydrophobic fiber selected from the group consisting of polyester fibers and polypropylene fibers in a weight ration of 20 to 70:80 to 30. The two fibers are drawn so as to show a sea-island form in the cross-section of the fiber bundle, spot-adhered by the partial melt-adhesion of the acrylic synthetic fiber, and the fiber bundle is twisted at a rate of 1 to 30 T/M.

  • Patent number: 4981531
Abstract: Disclosed are processes for producing cold rolled steel sheets and strips having excellent press formability and ageing property by a continuous annealing method, in which specific heating cycles are adopted in combination with steel compositions with lowered phosphorus contents.

  • Patent number: 4087289
Abstract: Anti-vibration steel materials containing not more than 0.1% of carbon and not more than 0.5% of manganese and having an .alpha. value of not lower than 55, said value being a product of the yield point or stress at 0.2% strain and the grain size number, and a method for producing the same which comprises hot rolling a steel slab, billet or bloom containing not more than 0.1% of carbon, not more than 0.5% of manganese, giving not more than 10% of strain to the hot rolled steel, annealing the hot rolled steel thus strain given at a temperature not lower than its recrystallization temperature but not higher than its A.sub.3 transformation point for at least one minute and controlling the .alpha. value as defined herein to a value not more than 55.

  • Patent number: 4046597
Abstract: A vibration damping steel containing C .ltoreq. 0.10% and Mn .ltoreq. 0.40% as the essential constituents and having a lower yield point or 0.2% proof stress of 7-28kg/mm.sup.2 with the degree of refinement of the steel being not less than 0.18 while still maintaining the specific gravity at 7.859g/cm.sup.3 or less, and a process for producing the same. This steel material is particularly suited for use in items which to produce and transmit vibration and noise.

  • Patent number: 3947293
Abstract: A method for producing a high-strength cold rolled steel sheet or strip is disclosed. Steel comprising0.05 to 0.15% of C;0.02 to 0.30% of Si;0.10 to 1.5% of Mn;0.02 to 0.07% of Al; andA total of 0.02 to 0.15% of at least one ofNb, V, Ti and Zr;With the remainder being iron and unavoidable impurities,Is hot rolled whereafter the hot rolled steel sheet or strip is coiled at a temperature of not more than 750.degree.C. The coiled sheet or strip is then cold rolled whereafter the cold rolled steel sheet or strip is subjected to annealing at a temperature between 670.degree.C and 900.degree.C for 20 seconds to 10 minutes.
