  • Publication number: 20250026854
Abstract: The present inventors produced a variety of bispecific antibodies that specifically bind to both F. IX/F. IXa and F. X, and functionally substitute for F. VIIIa, i.e., have a cofactor function to promote F. X activation via F. IXa. Among these antibodies, the antibody A44/B26 reduced coagulation time by 50 seconds or more as compared to that observed when the antibody was not added. The present inventors produced a commonly shared L chain antibody from this antibody using L chains of A44, and showed that A44L can be used as commonly shared L chains, although the activity of the resulting antibody is reduced compared to the original antibody (A44HL-B26HL). Further, with appropriate CDR shuffling, the present inventors successfully produced highly active multispecific antibodies that functionally substitute for coagulation factor VIII.

  • Patent number: 4533860
Abstract: An automobile headlamp inclination controller comprises a reduction gear group coupled between a headlamp and a d.c. motor. The d.c. motor has two windings, one for rotating a rotor in one direction and the other for rotating the rotor in an opposite direction. An angular position switch has a pair of fixed conductors and a plurality of trace conductors connected between d.c. motor and a manual operation switch for controlling the angular positions of the headlamp in response to the setting of the manual operation switch. The angular position switch has insulating portions corresponding to the angular positions of the headlamp. The insulating portions are used for stopping the d.c. motor when one of the trace conductors contacts with the insulating portion.

  • Patent number: 4263578
Abstract: An A.C. voltage picked up from the alternator driven by an internal combustion engine is converted into a pulse train signal so that the number of the pulses is counted for a period of time defined by a reference timing signal produced in synchronization with the rotation of the crankshaft of the engine. When the number of the pulses reaches a predetermined value during the period of time, a counter produces an output signal to indicate that the slipping rate of the belt is within a tolerance. On the other hand, when the number of pulses is less than the predetermined number, the counter does not produce an output signal (indicating that the slipping rate is over the tolerance). The output of the counter may be averaged over a plurality of measuring times.
