  • Patent number: 8857046
Abstract: A base material has a vibration damper provided detachably on a liner through an attaching surface. An apparatus is used when punching the vibration damper piece from the base material. The punched vibration damper piece is attached on an objective portion of a semi-finished head suspension. The apparatus includes a hollow punch and a punch drive mechanism. The hollow punch has a tooth portion at a distal end and a hollow internal surface that has a holding force larger than an attaching force of the vibration damper to the liner. The hollow punch punches the vibration damper piece out from the base material to hold the vibration damper piece on the hollow internal surface. The punch drive mechanism drives the hollow punch backward and forward in a punching direction, so that the vibration damper piece is punched with the tooth portion without punching out the liner.

  • Patent number: 5818432
Abstract: Since the present invention includes a character pattern ROM 7a having no memory of upper and lower space data lines, there is an address determination circuit 28 and a selection circuit 29, and when a value of an address signal L is not within an actual memory range from "3" to "16", the address determination circuit outputs a false signal as a determination result upon which the selection circuit outputs character pattern lines each including only extra space data, so that it is possible to serve a similar function to that of a conventional one with a smaller memory capacity than that of the conventional one.

  • Patent number: 5737477
Abstract: In a video cassette tape recording and reproducing device including a reserved time detecting unit which periodically detects either coming of a reserved time or coming of a time slightly before the reserved time after a timer controlled video tape recording is reserved; the reserved time, information relating to TV channel and identification information inputted in response to a signal associated with the timer controlled video tape recording reservation are stored in a memory, the identification information is recorded at the head position of a cassette tape loaded in the video cassette tape recording and reproducing device, the reservation time detecting unit is started without turning off a power source switch in the video cassette tape recording and reproducing device, and the identification information recorded on the cassette tape is reproduced when the detection signal from the reservation time detecting unit is received and whether or not the reproduced identification information coincides with the i

  • Patent number: 5333264
Abstract: A picture display apparatus capable of displaying fringed characters is provided with a latch circuit for latching a character code read from a display data RAM. The latch circuit is provided between the display data RAM and a character generator and used to receive and hold the character code read from the display data RAM once and to supply the character code thus held to the character generator. A write circuit writes the character code to a memory when the latch circuit is not so timed as to receive the character code from the memory.
