  • Patent number: 5860359
Abstract: A face shaped molding body of first electrode/solid electrolyte/second electrode composed of first and second electrodes on both the faces of the sold electrolyte layer is adapted to impress DC valve between the first electrode and second electrode in a condition where the solid electrolyte layer is heated to a given operation temperature. Atmosphere poor in oxygen or atmosphere rich in oxygen can be formed, by a gas pump which is selectively capable of discharging or feeding at least oxygen gas from the first atmosphere to the second atmosphere, so that atmosphere suitable for food preservation can be retained or chamber wherein oxygen is likely to be poor at heating can be retained in a condition rich in oxygen. Also, oxygen gas can be exchanged for steam when necessary so that the exchange ratio can be controlled by the controlling of the electrolysis voltage. Further, atmosphere is likely to be controlled, because the transportation amount of the oxygen gas and steam can be weighed by the current amount.

  • Patent number: 4431048
Abstract: An apparatus for effecting forced circulations of two separate fluids through separate fluids paths provided therein and, simultaneously, heat-exchanging between the fluids in a single unit is disclosed. It includes an impeller having a concentric corrugated zone made of a thin sheet material of good heat-conducting property, supported by a central disk member and an annular peripheral member, along both side of which flows of separate fluids are created, when the impeller is rotated. The heat-exchanging between the fluids each having a temperature difference with respect to the other is performed through the corrugated zone which the fluids are propelled through said paths.

  • Patent number: 4232536
Abstract: An agitator-type washing machine comprising an axial-airgap motor and a planetary reduction gear means, wherein a reciprocating motion of the axial-airgap motor is transmitted to an agitator via the reduction gear means in a washing action thereby making use of a high rotational speed, hence large torque and high efficiency of the axial-airgap motor.

  • Patent number: 4065233
Abstract: There is disclosed an electric blower assembly provided with an air guide structure designed such that the current of air expelled from a rotating impeller under the influence of centrifugal force is guided to the body of an electric motor while being accelerated. The air guide structure comprises an air guide block having front and rear compartments. The front compartment includes a plurality of volute chambers designed such that, during flow of air within the volute chambers, the dynamic pressure can be converted into static pressure. The flow of air under the static pressure is subsequently guided at a relatively low pneumatic velocity into the rear compartment and then into the body of the motor to cool the latter. The air used to cool the motor is thereafter exhausted to the outside of the motor.

  • Patent number: 3975832
Abstract: A hot air drying machine for drying materials, such as clothes or the like, includes a drum for materials to be dried rotatably supported in a housing, a fan casing communicated with the drum and enclosing therein a fan rotated simultaneously with the drum by a driving motor, and heaters for heating air sucked into the housing from exterior thereof. The drying machine further includes an electrical control circuit connected to a first temperature sensing element for hot exhaust air and a second temperature sensing element for the cool outside air sucked into the housing with the operational ratio of the first sensing element to the second sensing element adapted to vary depending on the power source voltage fluctuation for achieving uniform drying rates regardless of the variations of the power source voltage.
