Abstract: A lens shutter has a diaphragm blade, a shutter blade, and a motor with a rotor reciprocatingly turned between an initial position and a final position by a current applied to a coil, to move the diaphragm blade to stop at an aperture regulating position and the shutter blade between an aperture open position and an aperture close position in cooperation with a first forcing member urging the diaphragm blade toward the aperture regulating position, a stopper for keeping the diaphragm blade at the aperture regulating position and a second forcing member urging the rotor against movement for the final position at least after the diaphragm blade abuts on the stopper. A magnetic device is provided to keep the rotor at positions where the aperture is fully opened and closed, respectively, even when the current to the coil is interrupted.

Abstract: An electric shutter device wherein an armature lever is attracted by an electromagnet by making a large current flow to the electromagnet only when the operation of a self-timer ends so that a normal exposure operation may be thereby started in order to minimize the power consumption during the operation of the electric self-timer. This electric shutter device is provided with a pair of shutter blades which are also diaphragm blades, a closing drive plate engageable with the armature lever to control the opening and closing of the shutter, an exposure time controlling circuit controlling the energizing time of the electromagnet to determine a proper exposure time, an exposure warning circuit and a flash controlling circuit.

Abstract: A program type electric shutter wherein a shutter blade which is also a diaphragm blade and is made to be able to latch an exposure warning indicating device to be inoperative just before the beginning of the opening of the shutter blade and a diaphragm device which can open and close a window for a light receiving element are operatively connected with each other in order to prevent the mis-indication of the exposure warning indicating device. This electric shutter is provided with an electric self-timer device and a flash controlling circuit.

Abstract: A shutter for cameras comprising an intermediate lever to open and close shutter blades serving as diaphragm blades, a driving member which can open and close the shutter blades by rocking the intermediate lever while moving in one direction, a device which can vary the leverage of the intermediate lever by shifting the pivot of the intermediate lever with an EE mechanism and/or flashmatic mechanism and a synchroswitch operated by the driving member in order to make a flash-photographing possible at all shutter speeds.

Abstract: An opening and closing means for electric shutters comprising a single actuating member capable of controlling, during its movement in one direction, both of opening and closing of shutter blades for the purpose of providing a shutter of simple construction and low cost. Said electric shutter comprises a release member capable of keeping a power switch in closed state during operation of the shutter, said release member being locked in the position where it is released by said actuating member.
