  • Publication number: 20040251616
Abstract: In the sheet feeder, a first intermediate gear support shaft is inserted into a bearing of a first intermediate gear, and contains a bearing engaging part including a sectional shape having a substantial D-shaped cut having a flat part and a circular part. The bearing engaging part having a substantial D-shaped cut of the first intermediate gear support shaft contains two support parts and located on the boundary line between the flat part and the circular part. The support parts are arranged so as to support the circular bearing of the first intermediate gear at two positions sloping by a predetermined angle right and left for the line of a force which passes the center of the first intermediate gear and is applied to the first intermediate gear from the rotation. The support parts have a chamfered or rounded shape.

  • Patent number: 6717767
Abstract: A cassette table which is moved in a cassette traveling path has a support plate which is configured by a metal plate having elasticity, side walls, and cassette pressers. A magnetic tape device has swing levers which press down projections disposed on the side walls to lower the cassette table, and seats on which the tape cassette placed on the support plate is to sit. Swinging operation of the swing levers in a stage after the tape cassette sits on the seats is allowed by flexural deformation of the support plate.

  • Patent number: 6671123
Abstract: A pair of float prevention members 4f are formed at the upper ends of side plates 4b of a moving table 4 to engage the upper edge of a tape cassette T. A pair of integrally formed gripping members 4e are projected inward at the corners between the float prevention members 4f and the side plates 4b, and are brought into contact with the side faces of the tape cassette T when it is inserted in to the moving table 4. A bottom plate 4a of the moving table 4 is flexible steel. When the bottom plate 4a is flexed by inserting the tape cassette T between the gripping members 4e, due to the urging force thus generated, the gripping members 4e are flexibly brought into contact with the side faces of the tape cassette T.

  • Patent number: 6667847
Abstract: Guide plates 3a and 3b are formed integrally with a chassis 2 by bending a steel plate substantially into a U shape. Swinging levers 8 are disposed inside the guide plates 3a and 3b, and pivotal attachment shafts 7 provided on the outside surfaces of the swinging levers 8 are inserted in pivotal attachment holes 37 formed through the guide plates 3a and 3b. A coupling shaft 36 is disposed between the swinging levers 8 so as to be concentric with the pivotal attachment shafts 7, and the ends 36a of the coupling shaft 36 bent substantially in an L shape are engaged with concave portions 34a formed on the inside surfaces of the swinging levers 8, thereby integrally coupling the swinging levers 8 through the coupling shaft 36. Disengagement preventing parts 35 engaging with the ends 36a of the coupling shaft 36 engaged with the concave portions 34a are integrally formed on the swinging levers 8.

  • Publication number: 20030098376
Abstract: An idler mechanism for a magnetic tape device. An idler gear is swingingly displaced between first and second positions to selectively transmit rotation to one of a pair of reels. One end of an arm-like swinging member is coupled in a relatively rotatable manner to a center shaft of an input gear which always meshes with the idler gear and which is rotated forwardly and reversely. A shaft which is disposed on the other end of the swinging member is inserted in a relatively rotatable manner into a bearing hole of the idler gear. A surface of a flange which is disposed on the input gear is formed as a friction force applying face which extends radially outwardly so as to be inclined downwardly. An outer peripheral portion of the idler gear slidably comes into contact with the friction force applying face.

  • Publication number: 20020024760
Abstract: In a magnetic tape device, a recessed groove 41 protruding from a moving table. A press spring 16 engaged with the lever 8 is pressed against the rod 5. The table is slightly pushed-in in a backward motion b direction by inserting a tape cassette to the table which is on standby at a cassette inserting position. When the pushing is detected and a driving source is activated, the lever 8 is swung backward (d), whereby the moving table is moved backward (b) via the rod 5 to a cassette placing position. A cam 42 is formed in the groove 41, and when the moving table is pushed-in from the cassette inserting position in the backward motion b direction, the rod 5 is transferred onto the cam 42 to increase the pressing force of the spring 16.
