  • Publication number: 20030040993
Abstract: A service receiving unit 1 receiving a request of a multi-point communication service from a communication terminal 3A sends call-in addresses of all communication terminals 3A, 3B and 3C and a command instructing the provision of the multi-point communication service to a communication service unit 2. The communication service unit 2 sends a call to each communication terminal according to the call-in address and the command and provides the multi-point communication service. An accounting information server 4 performs the accounting to demand a communication charge and a service providing charge on the communication terminal 3A, the communication terminals 3A, 3B and 3C or a third person according to information of both a communication time-period and the number of communication terminals sent from the service receiving unit 1. Each charge is fixed or changed in proportion to or in inversely proportion to the number of communication terminals.

  • Publication number: 20010053282
Abstract: A program recording/reproducing system demultiplexes predetermined program signals from multiplexed signals into which a plurality of program signals are time-division-multiplexed per predetermined multiplexing unit, and records these demultiplexed program signals. The predetermined program signals are extracted from the multiplexed signals, and the program signals are recorded. The program signals are read out of a recording medium, and the readout program signals are outputted so that an output interval on each multiplexing unit becomes coincident with a time interval in the multiplexed signals. A null packet is inserted in between the two readout program packets in the same state as when recorded, thereby troubleshooting a buffer overflow or underflow occurred during the reproducing process.

  • Patent number: 4991456
Abstract: An industrial robot utilizing a parallel link mechanism comprises a shoulder portion swingable about a vertical axis, which supports a first arm and a first link for swing movements about a common axis. A second arm pivoted at the end of the first arm for swing movement about a swing axis parallel to the common axis and being provided with a wrist portion at the front end thereof, while a second link is connected between the first link and the second arm so as to form a parallel link mechanism. Further, the second arm is provided with first and second connecting portions formed at the rear side and front sides of the second arm, respectively, with respect to the swing axis of the second arm. The first and second connecting portions are selectively connectable with one end of the second link using a connecting mechanism.

  • Patent number: 4468921
Abstract: An air nozzle for producing a sheath-core type fancy yarn, comprising a hollow cylindrical nozzle body in which a vortex occurs around an axis thereof due to a suction flow of a subatmospheric pressure source. Within the nozzle body a conical cap and a ring body are arranged in series. A sheath yarn is overfed into the nozzle body in the tangential direction to the inner surface of the body and wraps around the conical cap to form a plurality of loops due to the vortex, then entangles a core yarn running straight through the nozzle body. Since an outer surface of the conical cap and a central opening of the ring body guide the vortex smoothly along a yarn path, a fancy yarn having uniformly and tightly entangled loops can be obtained.
