  • Patent number: 6431372
Abstract: A support unit and assembled rack in which long objects can be stacked easily, and products with a different length can be accommodated, light weight can be achieved, storage space is not needed, and waste generated in disassembly can be reduced. The support unit has a shelf portion on which long objects are placed and a fitting portion for connecting the upper portion and the lower portion of the support units to each other to assemble racks of the support units. At least the vicinities of both end portions in the lengthwise direction of a plate-shaped member are held by connecting members. One end of the connecting member protrudes upwardly to the lengthwise direction of the plate-shaped member to form a concave portion, and the plate-shaped member protrudes from the other end of the connecting member to form a convex portion, by which a fitting portion is formed.

  • Patent number: 6222134
Abstract: There are disclosed a method for assembling LP insulators in which no box housing is used, assembling operation is facilitated and various product lengths can be handled, and an LP insulator assembly which is lightweight because of a small amount of packing materials for use, which produces only a small amount of waste materials after unpacking and whose insulators are easily lifted. An LP insulator assembly 1 includes an LP insulator 2 mainly constituted of a shaft body 3, an engaging member 4 and a support fitting 5; a pallet 9 in which flat plates are arranged on spacer members 7 to form a deck surface and on which the LP insulator 2 is vertically placed; a fixing member 10 for fixing the support fitting 5 to the pallet; and a tying member 12 for tying the engaging members 4 to one another.

  • Patent number: 5702053
Abstract: A composite insulator-packing container is made of a single-faced corrugated fiberboard composed of a linerboard and a corrugating medium joined to one surface of the linerboard. The fiberboard is fabricated in a form of a polygonal prism by folding an original single-faced corrugated fiberboard along ruled lines such that the linerboard is located at an outer periphery of said packing container. The ruled lines are orthogonal to flutes of the corrugating medium and are formed such that when the fiberboard is folded along the ruled lines in the form of the polygonal prism, outer peripheries of shade portions formed around a core member of a composite insulator internally touch or are located radially inwardly near inner peripheral sides of the polygonal prism. A method for packing the composite insulator is also disclosed.
