  • Patent number: 4824220
Abstract: A device for forming an image with a laser beam is disclosed. The device comprises a laser, means for on-off modulating a laser beam, means for converting a wavelength of the laser beam generated by the laser and means for scanning the laser beam. With means for converting a wavelength of the laser beam, the laser which generates a laser beam, the wavelength of which does not directly meet the requirements, may be adopted to form an image.

  • Patent number: 4825405
Abstract: A printer comprising circuitry for selectively switching between an external unit connection mode and an external unit disconnection mode; circuitry for storing data supplied through the external unit in a buffer memory of the printer; and device for reprinting data stored in the buffer memory in the external unit disconnection mode. The reprinting device is suitably actuated to repeatedly print out data stored in the buffer memory, to provide a required number of copies. This is a continuation of Ser. No. 008,096 filed 1/23/83, now abandoned which is a continuation of Ser. No. 541,916 filed 10/14/83, now abandoned.

  • Patent number: 4782002
Abstract: A photo and pressure sensitive recording medium comprising a sheet shaped supporting member, microcapsules enveloping therein at least image developing materials and photo-sensitive resins, and plastic grains having large diameter than that of the microcapsule and being softenable when exposed to external energy. The microcapsules and the plastic grains are mixedly distributed and coated on one surface of said supporting member.Since the plastic grains are not softened until they are subjected to the external energy such as heat, light and so on, the microcapsules smaller than the plastic grains can be prevented from unintentional rupturing by fingers of operators or so during the transportation or so of the recording medium even though the microcapsules are prepared to be ruptuable by small pressure such as the pressure applied by the fingers or so.

  • Patent number: 4569611
Abstract: An automatic paper loading apparatus for a typewriter provided with a platen, feed rolls, and a paper bail. The paper loading apparatus essentially includes a paper alignment member pivotally mounted on a frame, a paper guide carried by a movable carriage, and three controllers, from first to third. The paper alignment member is engaged with the leading edge of an inserted printing paper while the feed rolls are spaced from the platen. The feed rolls are urged on the aligned paper and the paper alignment member is spaced from the platen for being disengaged from the leading edge of the printing paper owing to a manual operation of a lever.
