  • Publication number: 20170023413
Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to shorten the time needed for the terminal voltage of a bolometer element to converge to bias voltage, shorten the reset interval of an integration circuit, and improve the temperature resolution. This semiconductor device is provided with a means for presenting a bias voltage to a bolometer element. A bias circuit that inputs to an integration circuit the differential current of the current flowing to the bolometer element when the bias voltage is presented to the bolometer element, and the current from a bias cancel circuit that eliminates offset current of the bolometer element, pre-charges the bolometer element at a prescribed pre-charge voltage.

  • Patent number: 9426388
Abstract: Provided is an infrared image pickup device, including: a plurality of bolometer elements that receive light from a subject; and a plurality of readout circuits respectively connected to the plurality of bolometer elements, the plurality of bolometer elements and the plurality of readout circuits being connected to a first input voltage wiring and a second input voltage wiring. Each of the plurality of readout circuits includes: a bias circuit that applies a bias voltage to corresponding one of the plurality of bolometer elements; a bias-canceling circuit that removes an offset current of the corresponding one of the plurality of bolometer elements; an integration circuit connected to a connection point between the bias circuit and the bias-canceling circuit, that integrates a differential current between the bias circuit and the bias-canceling circuit; and a saturation-prevention circuit that prevents saturation of an output voltage of the integration circuit.

  • Patent number: 7948530
Abstract: An imaging device includes a read circuit having a bias circuit for biasing the signal currents output from a sensor array to correct variations of the sensor array. The bias current is determined so that the number of pixel data output from the read circuit which are below or above the threshold is equal to a specified number setting for the number of pixel data. A fixed pattern noise (FPN) correction circuit determines the full scale of the FPN correction current based on the bias current.
