  • Patent number: 10364519
Abstract: A slider spring for a slider used with a slider needle of a loop-forming textile machine includes a closing section for closing a hook opening of the slider needle, a connection section for connecting to a slider body, and a guide section for guiding the slider at a needle body. The slide spring includes at least one bead with a concave bead interior and a convex bead exterior. The slider spring is shaped and configured to be stacked against at least one other slider spring such that the convex bead exterior of the slider spring fits completely within the respective concave bead interior of the at least one other slider spring. A slider for a slider needle includes first and second slider springs as described. A slider needle includes a slider displaceable in a needle longitudinal direction relative to a needle body for opening or closing a hook opening.

  • Patent number: 9796103
Abstract: A tool unit (II) includes an ability to change the width (B) of a punching gap between a first tool (12) and a second tool (13). A plurality of second tools (13) jointly form a die tool with a circumferential die cutting edge in which the first tool (12) can engage with a cutting edge (22). Between the cutting edge (22) of the first tool and the respective cutting edge (21) of a second tool (12) a punching gap (23) is formed with a width (B) measured between the cutting edges (21, 22) across the working direction (A). Via lamping means (33), the deformation force acting on a second tool (13) can act transversely to the working direction (A), whereby the position of the affected cutting edge (21) and, with it, the width (B) of the punching gap (23), can be changed and set.

  • Patent number: 9533426
Abstract: For precise alignment of the punch stamps relative to the cutting plates, the respective punch stamp is supported in a floating manner, i.e., in a transversely movable manner, on the head plate associated with the punch stamp. The alignment of the cutting edges of the punch stamp with respect to the cutting edges of the cutting plate is accomplished by at least one stamp guide arrangement that is directly active between the punch stamp and the cutting plate and effects precise relative positioning in a direction transverse to the active cutting edges. The centering elements may extend from the punch stamp through the matrix or cutting plate. Alternatively, the centering elements may extend from the cutting plate through the openings of the punch stamp or extend along sliding or positioning surfaces of the punch stamp.

  • Patent number: 8302520
Abstract: A selection plate (39) is provided on a punch device (1) for activating or deactivating individual punch holding bars (13, 14). The plate has a coupling device (40) associated with a positive-locking coupling between a punch holding bar (13, 14) and the selection plate (39). Associated with the positive-locking coupling is an edge of the selection plate (39), that is provided with a recess (42), an extension (43) of the punch holding bar (13, 14) that extends around said edge, and/or a rib (41), which is located on the underside of the selection plate (39) and is associated with the punch holding bar (13, 14). As a result, it is possible to selectively establish or eliminate a positive-locking connection between the punch holding bar (13, 14) and the selection plate (39). Via the rib (41), the punch stroke of the selection plate (39) is merely transmitted to the punch holding bar (13 or 14), which is in positive-locking engagement with the lateral edge or the projections of the selection plate (39).

  • Patent number: 7971453
Abstract: In order to simplify handling of the knitting machine needles and of associate coupling members—in particular when loading the rib dials—a knitting machine needle with a coupling member that is pivotally supported on said knitting machine needle is being provided. The transverse bearing surfaces (21a) and (b), as well as (22a) and (b), said surfaces being at least temporarily in abutment with each other, are disposed to laterally secure the coupling member (3) on the needle body.

  • Publication number: 20110023675
Abstract: For precise alignment of the punch stamps relative to the cutting plates, the respective punch stamp 23 is supported in a floating manner, i.e., in a transversely movable manner, on the head plate 8 associated with the punch stamp. The alignment of the cutting edges of the punch stamp with respect to the cutting edges 49, 50, 51 of the cutting plate 18 is accomplished by at least one stamp guide arrangement 42 that is directly active between the punch stamp 23 and the cutting plate 18 and effects precise relative positioning in a direction transverse to the active cutting edges. The stamp guide arrangement 42 comprises centering elements with a cross-section having a contour which is, for example, rectangular, cylindrical or polygonal. The centering elements may extend from the punch stamp 23 through the matrix or cutting plate 18.

  • Patent number: 5937674
Abstract: A stamped knitting tool includes a shank having a shank thickness; and a window opening provided in the shank and defined by shank edges of the shank. At least one of the shank edges has an edge region of reduced thickness relative to the shank thickness. The edge region of reduced thickness has an increasing thickness as viewed in cross section in a direction toward the window opening. The edge region of reduced thickness has a minimum thickness and a maximum thickness; the maximum thickness is closer to the window opening than the minimum thickness and is less than the shank thickness. A heterogeneous material fills the window opening and is firmly connected with the shank, and the edge region of reduced thickness projects into the heterogeneous material.
