  • Publication number: 20210386914
Abstract: Proposed is a core-shell structure including a shell portion and a core portion, in which the shell portion includes n shells that are sequentially located from outside to inside, the core portion includes a core located inside the shell portion, n is any one of natural numbers from 1 to 30, when n is 1, the core is located adjacent to the inside of a first shell, when n is any one of natural numbers from 2 to 30, an nth shell is located adjacent to the inside of an n?1th shell, the nth shell is an empty space or is a hydrogel including at least one of an nth extracellular matrix and an nth cell, the core is an empty space or is a hydrogel including at least one of an extracellular matrix for a core and a cell for a core, two of the n shells and the core that are in contact with each other are not empty spaces simultaneously, and densities of the two of the n shells and the core that are in contact with each other are identical or different, thereby mimicking the construction of hollow organs such as the stom

  • Publication number: 20210079358
Abstract: The present invention relates to a 3 dimensional mimetic tissue structure—“Assembloid” based on patient-derived multiple cell types to develop next generation organoid technology serving as a novel platform for new drug development and a disease model and a method of manufacturing the same, and more particularly, to a stem cell- or tumor cell-based 3D multicellular mimetic tissue structure manufactured by reconstituting epithelial or tumor cells with various cellular components of a microenvironment such as stromal cells, vascular cells, immune cells or muscle cells based on three-dimensional (3D) bioprinting, and a method of manufacturing the same.

  • Publication number: 20210060044
Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for treating bladder cancer, which includes a methylation inhibitor of the Sonic hedgehog (SHH) gene, and more particularly, to a composition for preventing or treating bladder cancer, which includes a methylation inhibitor as an active ingredient to activate a hedgehog (Hh) signaling pathway involving a protein encoded by the gene by maintaining the expression level of SHH gene by suppressing methylation at the specific sites of the promoter of the SHH gene. The inventors found that the methylation at specific sites of the promoter of the SHH gene changes the pattern of the gene expression, and first identified that bladder cancer can be prevented or treated by controlling the Hh signaling pathway involving a protein encoded by the gene.
