The first layer of the light deflection film is located between the second layer and the display panel, and the first refractive index is larger than the second refractive index.

The second medium is formed on the first medium. The light deflecting structure is formed on the interface between the first medium and the second medium. The relationship between the optical element and the light emitted by the light source satisfies the formula: 0<|WB?WA|/Wref<10, wherein WA is an image broadening width obtained under the circumstances of the light passing through the optical element with the first medium as the light incident side; WB is an image broadening width obtained under the circumstances of the light passing through the optical element with the second medium as the light incident side; and Wref is a width obtained under the circumstances of the light not passing through the optical element.
