  • Patent number: 6174297
Abstract: A bath scrubber mainly includes a front nylon piece and a back piece that are sewed up to form a bag defining a unitary inner space for accommodating a plurality of massage balls therein. Restricting means are provided on the back piece and the front nylon piece at positions between any four adjacent massage balls. The restricting means divide the unitary inner space defined by the bag of the bath scrubber into several smaller spaces that each confines a massage ball therein but allows the massage ball to freely and smoothly rotate when the bath scrubber is moved on a user's skin to and fro for cleansing purpose. The bath scrubber with massage balls restricted in separated small spaces can therefore not only hold more bubbles to achieve enhanced cleaning effect but also provide good massage effect.

  • Patent number: 6148468
Abstract: Disclosed is a luminous material formed from artificial fibers containing luminous powder for making bathing scrubbers. The artificial fibers are compressed into wide and long strips that are suitable for forming into artificial fiber ring members. A plurality of such ring members can be densely tied together to form a ball-shaped bathing scrubber or be braided together to form a long braid-shaped bathing scrubber. The luminous powder is blended into raw material of artificial fibers during manufacture of the fibers to give the artificial fibers a luminous surface with suitable roughness and friction. Therefore, bathing scrubbers made with the artificial fibers containing luminous powder not only give out bright and attractive light but also thoroughly remove dust and callus from a user's skin.

  • Patent number: 6109070
Abstract: Disclosed is a bath glove woven out of yarns formed from twisted artificial fibers. The yarns are hooked and pulled in specific manner to form bottom, middle, and top layers of yarns. The bottom layer of yarns form loops to sequentially tighten the middle and top layers of yarns at predetermined intervals, such that parts of the yarns of middle and top layers between two adjacent points tightened together by the loops of the bottom yarns become loosely and upward projected. The top layer of yarns are guided in the course of weaving to loosely wind round an upper part of the upward projected portions of the middle layer of yarns, such that a difference in height exists between the middle and top layers of yarns to form a wavy, elastic and fluffy texture of the bath glove that traps more bubbles for better cleaning and massaging effect without undesirably scratching skin.

  • Patent number: 6098233
Abstract: A bath brush including a seat and brush hair holder fixedly connected to an upper surface of the seat. The seat is provided at the upper surface with a plurality of upward extended massage bars. The brush hair holder has a plurality of tufted hairs planted on an upper surface thereof. Positions on the brush hair holder corresponding to the massage bars on the seat are cut out to form through holes for the massage bars to project therefrom and locate among the tufted hairs. The massage bars have tops lower than that of the tufted hairs on the brush hair holder, whereby when the bath brush is used to brush and clean a user's skin, the tufted hairs are elastically bent to bring the massage bars into contact with the skin and gently massage the skin.

  • Patent number: 6092257
Abstract: Disclosed is a bath ball formed from at least two long sleeves of elastic nets woven out of different artificial fibers. The nets are sequentially put around a mold and axially compressed inward from two ends layer by layer to produce a multi-layer ruffled body on the mold. The ruffled body is tightened at two diametrically opposite points and removed from the mold, forming a bath ball having naturally spread dense ruffles. The dense ruffles give the bath ball better ability to hold sufficient bubbles to facilitate convenient and effective body cleansing. Moreover, the bath ball includes artificial fibers having different degrees of coarseness and can therefore be used to properly clean different body areas.

  • Patent number: 6092256
Abstract: Disclosed is a flat-back hairbrush mainly including a flat back member and an elastic member attached to a stepped and raised top portion of the back member and having a plurality of brushing pins distributed thereon. The elastic member has a downward extended flange around its lower outer periphery to just firmly enclose an outer periphery of the raised top portion of the back member. The tight and flush fit as well as an adequate amount of glue applied between the flange portion of the elastic member and the raised top portion of the back member allows the back member and the elastic member to be easily and quickly assembled to form the hairbrush without causing deformation of the elastic member over the back member.
