  • Publication number: 20130049422
Abstract: A chair and a method for fabricating the chair are provided. Therein, a butterfly mechanism has projecting portions for engaging with receiving recesses formed on a seat frame of the chair, and then the combined butterfly mechanism and seat frame can be fixed by screw members. A tubular portion at the butterfly mechanism is then mounted around a gas lift of a base portion of the chair. Then forward-extending projecting portions formed on a back frame of the chair are engaged with receiving recesses formed correspondingly on the butterfly mechanism, and the back frame and the butterfly mechanism are fixed by using screw members. An inward-extending connecting portion formed at a lower part of each of two armrest supports is inserted into a through hole on the seat frame, and the two components are fixed by using screw members.

  • Patent number: 8308240
Abstract: An adjustable lumbar support assembly for a chair includes a base, a lumbar support, and an angle adjustment assembly. The base is formed at a lower end of the backrest of the chair. Bar sections bilaterally formed at a lower end of the lumbar support are positioned across the base. The angle adjustment assembly is connected with one bar section of the lumbar support and the base. To tilt the lumbar support forward or backward, a pulling rod is pulled backward to bring the lumbar support into a free state where projections on corresponding surfaces of a positioning element and a moving element mounted around the pulling rod are pressed against each other to allow manual adjustment of the lumbar support for optimal support. When the pulling rod is pushed back, the lumbar support enters a locked state where the positioning element and the moving element are in projection-recess engagement.

  • Patent number: 7802847
Abstract: An angle-adjusting structure for a backrest of a chair is mounted at a rear side of a butterfly-shaped mounting member of the chair. The angle-adjusting structure includes a main body and a rotating member jointly passed through by a shaft having external teeth. A resilient element is mounted around an end of the shaft. A cover is secured to the main body by threaded fasteners. A pressing member is mounted on the other end of the shaft. By pressing the pressing member inward, the external teeth of the shaft are disengaged from internal teeth of the rotating member, and the rotating member is allowed to rotate freely. When the pressing member is released, the resilient element mounted around the end of the shaft extends outward to re-engage the external teeth of the shaft with the internal teeth of the rotating member, thereby securing the rotating member in place.

  • Patent number: 7742129
Abstract: A manufacturing method of a color filter substrate is provided. In the method, a substrate is provided. A first color layer, a second color layer, and a third color layer are then sequentially formed on the substrate. At least any two of the first color layer, the second color layer, and the third color layer are partially overlapped to form a number of supporters. Next, a common electrode layer is formed on the substrate to cover the first color layer, the second color layer, the third color layer, and the supporters. A light-shielding layer is then formed on the common electrode layer, and a portion of the light-shielding layer is disposed over the supporters. Based on the manufacturing method of the color filter substrate, fewer masks are required.

  • Patent number: 7713596
Abstract: A light shading structure suitable for being disposed on a substrate is provided, wherein the substrate has a display region and a non-display region. The light shading structure includes a black matrix layer and a light shading layer. The black matrix layer is disposed on the substrate and defines multiple sub-pixel regions in the display region. The black matrix layer also covers the non-display region adjacent to the edge of the display region. The light shading layer is disposed on the black matrix layer in the non-display region adjacent to the edge of the display region and has at least one channel. The light shading structure can reduce light leakage at the edge of the display region of the LCD panel. During processes of manufacturing the LCD panel, the liquid crystal contamination caused by the contact of liquid crystal and sealant can be avoided by the light shading structure.

  • Patent number: 7334841
Abstract: A backrest of a chair has a recess for receiving an angle adjustable lumbar support. The lumbar support has a lower projection including a pair of cylindrical protrusions at both sides with resilient and metal gaskets put thereon, an outer gear formed around one of the pair of protrusions, and a through hole through the protrusions. A shaft assembly has inner teeth inserted into the through hole and secured by a washer and a elastic element. The lumbar support is secured to a plate of the chair, and the shaft assembly is movable on a sliding member by operating a lever of a manipulation assembly. Thus, the lumbar support is adjustable by manipulating the lever so as to cause the inner teeth to be disengaged from the gear. The lumber support is positioned by releasing the lever so as to cause the shaft assembly to force the gear and the inner teeth to be engaged together due to the expansion of the elastic element.

  • Publication number: 20060078689
Abstract: An evaporation process applied to an evaporation apparatus to evaporate an evaporation source onto a substrate is provided. The evaporation apparatus comprises a purification chamber and an evaporation chamber, wherein a heating device is installed in the purification chamber and a deposition device is installed in the evaporation chamber. First, the evaporation source is supplied in the purification chamber, wherein impurities are formed on the surface of the evaporation source. Then, the evaporation source is heated by the heating device in order to gasify the impurities so they are reduced from the evaporation source. Next, the evaporation source is moved into the evaporation chamber and evaporated on the substrate by the deposition device. Thus, this evaporation process can reduce impurities before depositing the substrate and improve the yield factor of the evaporation process.
