    Abstract: A method for patrol with scanning tags includes: installing electronic tags in various patrol locations, each of which includes an electronic paper displaying module and an identification mark mapping to one of the patrol locations to form mapping information; logging in a patrol server with a communication terminal; downloading a patrol route list which lists multiple patrol locations from the patrol server; scanning, with the communication terminal, the identification mark on the electronic tag when arriving at one of the patrol locations; and transmitting, with the communication terminal, a first data signal to the electronic tag to display a first patrol record based on the first data signal, and confirming the patrol position to be checked by transmitting the first patrol record to the patrol server.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a digital video broadcasting-terrestrial (DVB-T) system and modulation method thereof. The system comprises a transmission module and a receiving module. The transmission module modulates a video signal to a DVB-T signal. The receiving module receives the DVB-T signal via a transmission line and demodulates the DVB-T signal to the video signal, and at the same time, monitoring the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) or bit error rate (BER), and quantizes them to a reference data. The receiving module transmits the reference data to the transmission module through the same transmission line. The system can determine a control parameter according to the reference data to set the modulation parameter of the DVB-T signal.

The second linear polarization direction is perpendicular to the first linear polarization direction. The display unit is spaced-apart from the upper polarizer and is used to display images. The touch sensing unit is disposed between the upper polarizer and the display unit, and includes an optical compensation substrate and a touch sensing electrode structure disposed on the optical compensation substrate. The optical compensation substrate is flexible and is able to control the polarization property of the light passing therethrough.

    Abstract: A calibration system and method for a multi-display system. Test patterns displayed on each screen of the multi-display system are captured by a handheld device. One of the captured images corresponding to a specific display is designated as a standard image such that the handheld device can compare the other captured images corresponding to the other displays with the standard image to determine at least one adjustment parameter for each display. The images output to each display can be adjusted according to the adjustment parameter so as to eliminate the display differences between the images.

The transmission module modulates a video signal to a DVB-T signal.
