Abstract: A traverse of a light scribe disk drive is provided. An opening is disposed at the center of a frame, wherein one end of the opening has a half circle, and a fillister is integrally formed around the half circle. A spindle motor is mounted on a PCB to form a spindle motor module. The PCB with a connecting slot is disposed on the frame to insert the spindle motor into the half circle. An optical sensor is mounted on a substrate to form an optical sensor module, and the substrate is inserted in the fillister. One end of a cable is connected to the substrate, and the other end is connected to the connecting breach to simplify the structure.
