  • Publication number: 20100328215
Abstract: A method for operating a mouse wheel of a mouse of a computer according to a position of a cursor pointer of the mouse is provided. According to the method, a software is used to partition a screen frame or a software window frame into at least two sub-fields. Each of the sub-fields is corresponding to a predetermined related mouse wheel functional operation instruction. When a cursor pointer of the mouse is moved into one of the sub-fields, and while the mouse wheel is in operation, the predetermined related mouse wheel functional operation instruction corresponding to the sub-field in which the cursor pointer is instantly located is then initiated and executed.

  • Publication number: 20100013771
Abstract: A mouse having a shake-elimination function when leaving a working plane is provided. A light sensing unit detects a light emitted by a light emitting unit toward a working plane or a column shaped member, and outputs a detection signal. A microprocessor determines whether the mouse is apart from the working plane according to the detection signal. When it is determined that the mouse is positioned apart from the working plane, the microprocessor clears the displacement amount obtained from the communication interface of the optical displacement sensor, and meanwhile the microprocessor inform the computer that the mouse is apart from the working plane. In such a way, when the user lifts the mouse up from the working plane, the displacement signal outputted from the optical displacement sensor won't cause the cursor shake.

  • Publication number: 20090278801
Abstract: A method for executing a predetermined command associated with a mouse gesture includes the steps of: (1) recording a motion track of the mouse; (2) calculating a distance of the motion track of the mouse; if the distance is less than a predetermined value, returning to step (1); (3) transforming the motion track from rectangular coordinates to polar coordinates represented by a distance and an angle, in which the polar coordinate system is divided into eight angle regions, determining which angle region the angle of the polar coordinates is located in, and executing a predetermined command corresponding to the region in which the angle is located, wherein the eight regions are defined as N×45°±22.5°, and N is one of integers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7; (4) clearing the recorded mouse motion track, or subtracting the predetermined value from the recorded mouse motion track, and returning to step (1).

  • Publication number: 20090177862
Abstract: An input device for executing an instruction code and method and interface for generating the instruction code are disclosed. The method for generating an instruction code which is executed by an input device includes the steps of: opening a specific purpose programming interface which is used for simulating to show a plurality of corresponding buttons according the input device; selecting a corresponding button waiting for being defined and entering a programming window; selecting any instruction for the corresponding button waiting for being defined to form a combined operation instruction in proper sequence; compiling the combined operation instruction to form an instruction code which can be executed by the input device; and downloading the instruction code to the input device. Accordingly, the input device can show a continuous operation action when the corresponding button waiting for being defined is pressed.

  • Publication number: 20080170360
Abstract: An extendable mouse with an extension pole includes a bottom housing and a top housing. The top housing includes a forepart and a back part, the forepart covers the bottom housing, or, the forepart is in-molded with the bottom housing, a flexing sheath connects the forepart and the back part, and an extension pole is set inside the back part. The back part, the flexing sheath, and the extension pole joint extensionally with the forepart. The back part covers the bottom housing and can be pulled relative to the bottom housing. The shell of the extendable mouse of the present invention can be extended backwards more conveniently. The entire size of the mouse and the mini mouse especially when used for notebook computers is increased. Hence, integrality and the sense of looks are improved.
