  • Patent number: 10514782
Abstract: An active stylus signal identification method applied to a capacitive touch panel is disclosed. When an active stylus and a finger approach the capacitive touch panel at the same time, the active stylus signal identification method includes steps of: (a) during a first period, the active stylus emits an active stylus signal toward the capacitive touch panel according to a protocol; (b) during a second period after the first period, the active stylus stops emitting the active stylus signal and a touch sensing circuit performs a finger touch sensing on the capacitive touch panel; (c) during a third period after the second period, the active stylus emits the active stylus signal toward the capacitive touch panel again according to the protocol.

  • Publication number: 20150015549
Abstract: A touch stylus and operating method thereof are disclosed. The touch stylus includes a piezoelectric unit, a magnet unit, and a coil unit. The piezoelectric unit is formed by a piezoelectric material. The magnet unit is coupled to the piezoelectric unit. The coil unit is evenly wound on the outer of the magnet unit. When a tip of the touch stylus is forced and generates a vibration, the piezoelectric material of the piezoelectric unit is deformed by force to generate a piezoelectric current. When the touch stylus is shaken, the coil unit and the magnet unit will generate relative movement to change the distance between them and the magnetic flux will be changed, the coil unit will generate an induced current.

  • Patent number: 8108071
Abstract: A method for coordinating cooperative robots is provided. The method includes following steps. An abnormal event is detected by a sensor disposed in an environment or in a robot. The abnormal event is broadcasted to the cooperative robots. Each robot determines whether the priority of the abnormal event is higher than that of its currently executing task. If the answer is “yes,” whether function attributes of the robot meet attributes of the abnormal event is then determined. If the function attributes of the cooperative robot do not meet the attributes of the abnormal event, the robot broadcasts to acquire help from other robots, thereby constituting an instantly designated task team. The instantly designated task team goes to where the abnormal event takes place to process the abnormal event. After the abnormal event has been eliminated, the instantly designated task team is dismissed and these robots resume their original tasks.
