  • Publication number: 20240114239
Abstract: A system for remotely controlling microscopic machinery and a method thereof are provided. The system includes at least one local device and a remote host for sending a control command thereto. A microslide is placed on a microscopic camera device in the local device, and the microscopic camera device captures an image of the microslide according to a capture command in the control command. The local device transmits the image to the remote host in a video format. A motorized stage moves to a next preset position according to a movement command in the control command to capture another image of the microslide. The steps of capturing and transmitting the image and the step of moving are repeated until the microslide is captured completely. The invention can solve the problem of time delay when the image captured by the remote control microscopic camera device is displayed.

  • Publication number: 20140152601
Abstract: A touch display device includes a display, a touch panel, a storage, a touch driver, and a processor. The display displays a graphical user interface (GUI). The touch panel senses a touch operation. The touch driver defines a valid operation area of the touch panel according to the GUI and obtains information of touch operations applied to the touch panel. When a location of the touch operation is located within the valid operation area, the touch driver generates a touch signal. When a location of the touch operation is not located within the valid operation area, the touch operation is determined to be an invalid touch operation, and the touch driver does not generate a touch signal.

  • Patent number: 8639237
Abstract: A system and a method for controlling access at a user end are disclosed. The correlation between a tag signal of a femtocell access point and a tag signal of a fixed internet device is established, such that when the femtocell access point would access internet via the fixed internet device, a tag signal of the femtocell access point and a tag signal of the fixed internet device are acquired, so as to determine whether the tag signal of the femtocell access point and the tag signal of the fixed internet device match the correlation in the data bank. When the tag signal of the femtocell access point and the tag signal of the fixed internet device match the correlation, the femtocell access point is allowed to provide access services. The present invention provides an effective mechanism for controlling access at a user end.

  • Patent number: 8422664
Abstract: An integrated access device (IAD) protects overcurrent of a DAA chipset. The IAD periodically detects an on-hook/off-hook state of the DAA chipset, and periodically monitors an OPD state of the DAA chipset upon the condition that the on-hook/off-hook state of the DAA chipset is detected in off-hook state at least twice. The IAD further sets the on-hook/off-hook state of the DAA chipset as on-hook to avoid damage to the DAA chipset caused by overcurrent upon the condition that the OPD state of the DAA chipset indicates the DAA chipset is overcurrent.

  • Publication number: 20120225681
Abstract: A method of providing services to a vehicle and a micro base station applicable to a vehicle. The micro base station is disposed on the vehicle and is connected to the core network and the mobile communication device, either with different or the same wireless communication techniques. The mobile communication device is then enabled to communicate with the core network according to a connection relation between the first wireless communication technique and the core network. With the micro base station and the method of providing services to the vehicle, chances of performing a handshaking process between the communication device installed on the vehicle and the core network base station are greatly reduced, and the stability of signals received by the mobile communication device is highly improved. Therefore, the communication quality between the mobile communication device and the core network is enhanced.
