    Abstract: A portable electronic device includes a first module, a second module, a pivoting mechanism and an electronic module. The pivoting mechanism is connected to the first module and the second module so that the second module pivots relative to the first module. The pivoting mechanism includes a pair of first fixing components, a pair of pivoting components and a pair of second fixing components. Each fixing component is fixed on the first module. Each pivoting component includes a first component and a second component, and the first component is fixed on the corresponding first fixing component. Each second fixing component is fixed on the corresponding second component and the second module. The electronic module is connected to the two second components so that the pivoting mechanism drives the electronic module and the second module to pivot simultaneously as the second module pivots relative to the first module.

    Abstract: A keyboard module adapted to be used in an electronic device. The electronic device has a casing. The casing has a containing opening. The keyboard module contained in the containing opening includes a bottom plate, an elastic component, a cover and a key cap disposed on the elastic component. The bottom plate disposed within the casing has a circuit. The elastic component is disposed on the bottom plate or the circuit. The cover movably disposed in the containing opening is located above the bottom plate. The cover has an opening aligned to the elastic component. A portion of the key cap protrudes from the opening. Another portion of the key cap interferes with the opening, such that the key cap resists elasticity of the elastic component and moves to shorten a distance between the key cap and the bottom plate when the cover moves toward the bottom plate.

    Abstract: A cover module includes a housing provided with a connecting hole, a cover unit disposed in proximity to the connecting hole and movable between closed and open positions that respectively closes and opens the connecting hole, a magnetic member disposed in the housing, a biasing member biasing the cover unit toward the closed position, and a limiting mechanism having a limiting plate cooperating with the housing to define a receiving slot which restricts sliding movement of the magnetic member therewithin. When an electronic component approaches the connecting hole, the magnetic member is magnetically pulled to move toward the connecting hole, simultaneously pushing the cover unit to the open position.
