Abstract: A non-aqueous liquid heavy duty laundry detergent composition in the form of a suspension of builder salt in liquid nonionic surfactant is stabilized against phase separation by the addition of small amounts of low density filler, such as hollow plastic or glass microspheres. The low density particulate filler is added in an amount to equalize the densities of the continuous liquid phase and the dispersed phase.

Abstract: Liquid, caustic-free, pre-spotting compositions that remove baked-on food residues from hard surfaces at ambient temperatures are provided which comprise:a. from about 1 to 40%, preferably 4 to 20%, of a surfactant selected from the group consisting of anionic surfactants, nonionic surfactants and mixtures thereof;b. from about 1 to 10% of a builder selected from the group consisting of polyphosphates, pyrophosphates, citrates, carbonates, and mixtures thereof;c. from about 0.2% to 2% of an amine selected from the group consisting of monoethanolamine, diethanolamine, triethanolamine and mixtures thereof;d. water; ande.

Abstract: A non-aqueous liquid heavy duty laundry detergent composition in the form of a suspension of builder salt in liquid nonionic surfactant is stabilized against phase separation by the incorporation of gas bubbles having an average particle size diameter of 10 to 100 microns. The gas bubbles are incorporated in an amount to equalize the densities of the continuous liquid phase and the dispersed phase. The gas bubbles are stabilized by incorporation of a stabilizer having the formula ##STR1## wherein R is a hydrocarbon group of about 5 to 21 carbon atoms,Q is a hydrogen atom, a Group IA metal, a Group IIA metal, a group having the formula --CH.sub.2 --CH(R.sup.1)--CH.sub.2 (R.sup.2), or a mixture thereof, wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are, independently, --OH or R-C(O)O-- (R being as defined above); anda is 1 or 2, with the proviso that a=2 only when Q is a Group IIA metal.

Abstract: A light duty liquid detergent containing about 0.1 to 0.6% of a nonionic hydroxypropyl guar gum derivative as the foam enhancing agent in an aqueous solution containing a maximum of 40%, preferably less than 35% of the ternary surfactant system comprising C.sub.8 -C.sub.18 alkyl ethenoxy ether sulfate, C.sub.8 -C.sub.18 alkyl sulfate and a betaine.

Abstract: A high foaming, nonionic surfactant based, light duty, liquid detergent with desirable cleansing properties and mildness to the human skin comprising four essential surfactants:1. a water soluble nonionic surfactant as the major active ingredient, in an amount in excess of 50% by weight of the total surfactant content;2. a supplemental amount of a water soluble, foaming, anionic surfactant excluding the ethoxylated alkyl ether sulfates;3. a lesser amount of a water soluble, foaming zwitterionic betaine surfactant; and4. a minor amount of a fatty acid alkanolamide foam stabilizer; dissolved in an aqueous vehicle.

Abstract: Liquid detergent compositions having good foaming and grease emulsification properties as well as reduced skin irritation effects which consist essentially of, by weight, 8% to 30% of a water-soluble C.sub.10 --C.sub.16 alkyl ether ethylenoxy sulfate salt containing an average of 5 to 12 moles of ethylene oxide in the molecule, a supplementary, water-soluble, non-soap, anionic detergent having in its molecular structure a C.sub.8 --C.sub.22 alkyl alkenyl or acyl group, and a sulfonate, sulfate or carboxylate group, the weight ratio of said alkyl ether sulfate to said supplementary detergent being in the range of 1:1 to 20:1; 1% to 8% of a zwitterionic detergent having the structural formula ##STR1## wherein R is a C.sub.8 --C.sub.18 alkyl or C.sub.8 --C.sub.18 alkanamido C.sub.2 --C.sub.3 alkyl group, R.sub.1 is a C.sub.1 --C.sub.3 alkyl, R.sub.2 is a C.sub.1 --C.sub.4 alkylene or hydroxyalkylene and X is S:O or C; 1% to 8% of an N--C.sub.8 --C.sub.18 alkonoic acid C.sub.2 --C.sub.
