  • Publication number: 20240072633
Abstract: The present invention provides a resonant switched capacitor voltage converter (RSCC), which is coupled to and operates synchronously with another RSCC. The RSCC includes: plural switches, a resonant inductor, a resonant capacitor, and a control circuit. The control circuit controls the switches, so that the resonant capacitor and the resonant inductor are connected in series to each other, to perform resonant operation in a switching period, thus converting an input voltage to an output voltage. The control circuit generates a zero current signal and a first synchronization signal when a resonant inductor current flowing through the resonant inductor is zero. The control circuit turns off at least one corresponding switch according to the zero current signal. The control circuit turns on at least one corresponding switch according to the zero-current signal and a second synchronization signal, so that the RSCC operates in synchronization with at least another RSCC.

  • Patent number: 7798951
Abstract: An apparatus for disposal of low-level surface radioactive pollutants has a container body which center has accommodating space with opening at its top. Around the accommodating space there is a layer of barrier space for holding water. At the periphery of the barrier space there is a non-barrier hollow channel for the accommodating space to connect outside. A rotating disk is located at the bottom of the accommodating space in the container body for holding and turning the low-level radioactive waste to be treated and also facilitating the worker to pass through the non-barrier hollow channel for cleaning task.

  • Patent number: 7776223
Abstract: This present invention is related to a method of collecting high-level radioactive contaminated uranium powder underwater. It utilizes a long rod fixed to the pipe of the sewage pump at bottom, and takes another end of the sewage pump to connect to the sediment bag to collect uranium powder which is dispersed and contaminates the pond. Inhaling the pond water contains uranium powder into the sediment bag by sewage pump that is joined to a collecting can under it and waiting for precipitation of the powder. When the uranium powder in the sediment bag is completely precipitated into the collecting can, operator can utilize submersible pump to drain the pond water from the sediment bag. Operator may hold the cable wire of the uranium powder collecting can manually to move it to the collecting shelf and repeat the process several times until the high-level radioactive uranium powder in the contaminated pond are all collected on the uranium powder collecting shelf.

  • Publication number: 20100203150
Abstract: The present invention discloses a comb-like amphiphilic copolymer comprising a hydrophilic segment and a hydrophobic segment. It also discloses a novel fabrication method for synthesizing said amphiphilic copolymers. A novel initiator comprising a drug molecule, e.g. 5?-DFUR, bonded to one or two macromolecules of a hydrophobic polymer is provided. A spherical micelle with core-shell structure is formed by self-aggregation of said amphiphilic copolymer. It discloses a micelle-like nanoparticle comprising one or more said amphiphilic copolymers. The nanoparticles contain said drug molecules innately with no need to encapsulate the desired drug into the nanoparticles. The nanoparticles can serve as micellar drug carriers for delivering the drug. A nanocarrier comprising said nanoparticle and an active water-insoluble substance, e.g. SN-38, Camptothecin, encapsulated in the nanoparticle is also disclosed.
