  • Patent number: 11850811
Abstract: A method of fabricating a lens includes dispensing a first liquid optically-transmissive material into a first mold cavity and then curing the first liquid optically-transmissive material to form a first region the lens having a first refractive index and an optical interface surface. A second liquid optically-transmissive material then dispensed into a second mold cavity over the optical interface surface while the first region of the lens is disposed within the second mold cavity. The second liquid optically-transmissive material in the second mold cavity is cured to form a second region of the lens having a second refractive index. An optical interface between the first region and the second region conforms to the optical interface surface.

  • Patent number: 11841027
Abstract: A demand-based load balancing function may be provided by one or more drive controllers that takes advantage of the affinity laws to linearize the control of the variable of interest (e.g., flow, pressure, etc.). Each drive controller may be set up by the user simply inputting a few values into the drive controller. Based on the inputs, the drive controllers may interpolate control points using an assumed linear relationship between the variable to be controlled (e.g., pressure) and the current driven to the pump. Feedback data from the system may be used to continually update the drive controllers so as to potentially allow them to better balance power usage to each pump.

  • Publication number: 20230362593
Abstract: A device may receive user equipment (UE) location data identifying a latitude and a longitude of a UE, as reported by the UE, and may receive network location data identifying a latitude and a longitude of the UE, as reported by a core network. The device may process the UE location data and the network location data to determine a confidence score associated with an actual location of the UE. The device may process the UE location data and the network location data, when the confidence score is outside a confidence interval, to determine whether the UE location data is valid. The device may perform one or more actions based on determining whether the UE location data is valid.

  • Publication number: 20230350967
Abstract: Technology is disclosed for computer-user interfaces to facilitate access to a computer resource by users having accessibility needs. In one implementation, a computer-user interface comprises an assistance user interface (UI) provided as a supplemental UI presented in conjunction with the computer resource and which does not inhibit access to the computer resource. The assistance UI may include UI controls, such as hyperlinks or buttons, to facilitate user access to the computer resource. Particular UI controls and their configuration may be determined based on a category of the computer resource such that computer resources of a similar category have similarly configured assistance UIs or similarly named UI controls. Moreover, particular data features of a computer resource may be programmatically detected and utilized to generate the UI controls such that a particular UI control corresponds to a particular data feature.

  • Publication number: 20230331799
Abstract: The present invention relates to masked IL-15 cytokines, comprising an IL-15 cytokine or functional fragment thereof, a masking moiety and a proteolytically cleavable linker. The masking moiety masks the IL-15 cytokine or functional fragment thereof thereby reducing or preventing binding of the IL-cytokine or functional fragment thereof to its cognate receptor, but upon proteolytic cleavage of the cleavable linker at a target site, the IL-15 cytokine or functional fragment thereof becomes activated, which renders it capable or more capable of binding to its cognate receptor.

  • Publication number: 20230318817
Abstract: A first key management entity (KME) in a mobile edge network engages in quantum key distribution (QKD) with a second KME in a far network to generate a secret cryptographic key that is shared between the first KME and the second KME. The first KME determines a key identifier (ID) for associating with the cryptographic key, and sends the key ID to the second KME for association with the secret cryptographic key at the second KME. The first KME receives a session request from a first session endpoint for a session across at least one of the mobile edge network or the far network. The first KME sends the key ID and the cryptographic key to the first session endpoint for establishing an encrypted session across the at least one of the mobile edge network or the far network.

  • Publication number: 20220406174
Abstract: A device may receive a message identifying an incident associated with a vehicle and may forgo rebroadcast of the message when the message was previously received. The device may store the message when the message was not previously received and may calculate a distance from the device to the vehicle based on a received power associated with the message. The device may determine whether to stop rebroadcasting the message based on a stop condition and based on the distance or a current location of the device and may calculate a particular coverage area of a rebroadcasted message based on coverage areas of the device and the vehicle. The device may determine, based on not determining to stop rebroadcasting the message and based on the distance or the particular coverage area, a delay time to wait before rebroadcasting the message and may rebroadcast the message after the delay time expires.
