The base body (2) is formed as a deep-drawing part (31) and provided with a pocket (8) which is formed concurrently during deep-drawing, for at least partially receiving the substantially radial clamping mechanism (9). In addition, a method for making a positioning clamp is described.

Abstract: The invention relates to slotted fastening ring for making a formfitting connection by compressing or expanding, respectively, the slotted fastening ring during installation or removal, respectively. It is provided that the fastening ring (1) is made from an essentially non-resilient cold-formable material (3) and that the ring tips (10, 11) between which the slot (9) is formed, are spaced apart--when the fastening ring (1) is not installed--such as to be capable--for the purpose of installing the ring (1)--of being bent towards each other under plastic deformation, so that the fastening ring (1) attains a closed position, with the inside opening (7) of the ring taking on a circular or a substantially circular contour (8).

Abstract: The invention relates to a hose clamp with a U-shaped lower housing, wherein an end section of a tightening strap is secured to the bottom of the lower housing, and with an upper housing which is pivotally supported in the lower housing for engaging or disengaging a worm drive with the other end region of the tightening strap, wherein the worm drive is supported in the upper housing such as to permit rotation, but no substantial axial movement, and wherein the upper housing comprises mounting tabs formed as one piece which engage or are capable of engaging, respectively, from the inside of the lower housing with recesses in side walls forming the legs of the U-shaped lower housing.

Abstract: The invention concerns a clamp having a band-shaped clamping section and a clamping device used to connect the end areas of the clamping sections, which each have a mounting flange extending at an angle to the respective clamping section end, whereby a clamping component acts on the two mounting flanges. It is provided that a reinforcing corner connection (14, 15) proceeds from each of the two lateral edges (12, 13) of each mounting flange (11), the reinforcing corner connection being connected with the respective lateral edge (16, 17) of the end area of the adjacent clamping section (18). Furthermore, the invention concerns a pipe connection having clamps of this type.

Abstract: An elongated link chain includes a plurality of hingedly connected chain links. Each chain link is made of punched out sheet metal defining a first plane, and includes two lateral walls extending in the longitudinal direction of the chain and spaced from one another in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction. At least one transverse web in the first plane rigidly interconnects the lateral walls for holding the walls in position with respect to one another. Each lateral wall includes an arm, and each arm has an end portion constituting a bearing pin.

Abstract: An elongated link chain includes a plurality of hingedly connected chain links. Each of such links includes two lateral walls extending in the longitudinal direction of the chain and spaced from one another transversely of the chain. There are further provided two bearing pins each arranged at one of the end regions of one of the lateral walls in alignment with the respectively other bearing pin. A transverse web rigidly interconnects the lateral walls for holding such walls in position with respect to one another. Each of the lateral walls has a separate bearing hole for the respective associated bearing pin of another identical chain link which is arranged adjacently to the bearing holes of the respective chain link, such separate bearing holes being coaxial with one another and axially spaced from each other.

Abstract: A pivotally unfoldable clamping shell for releasably embracing and clamping parts to one another, includes two one-piece strip members which define respective half-shell regions, each having first and second ends; a center line is defined between the first and second strip member ends. A hinge member pivotally connects the strip members near the first ends thereof, and each second end of a corresponding strip member is bent so as to form a flange extending substantially parallel to the center line. Each strip member includes two strip elements juxtaposed with one another in a corresponding half-shell and flange region thereof, and the hinge member includes first and second lugs; at least one lug is formed by the strip elements of a corresponding strip member being connected to one another.

Abstract: A hose clamp which includes a metallic tightening strap and a tightener that has a housing to which the final portion of the tightening strap is adapted to be fastened as well as a rotatably mounted tightening worm cooperable with a gear tooth system of the tightening strap so as to enable an adjustment of the tightening strap. The final portion of the tightening strap is provided with a bent portion adapted to be inserted into a transverse slit provided in the bottom portion of the housing, with the transverse slit extending substantially at a right angle to the tightening strap. The bent part includes a cross bar which is adapted to be pressed onto a longitudinal wall of the transverse slit by a tension applied to the tightening strap when the tightening strap is tightened.

Abstract: Hose band clip with a tightening strap and a turnbuckle which is secured to one end of the tightening strap and to which a turnbuckle worm, that cooperates with gearing of the tightening strap in order to adjust the strap, is pivoted. Narrow openings are formed in longitudinal sidewalls of the housing of the turnbuckle which, when the tightening strap is tightened, are deformed by a predetermined large tension force transmitted from the worm to the housing of the turnbuckle to provide an optical indication that the tension force should not be increased any further.
