  • Patent number: 6196881
Abstract: A device for the coding of plug receptacles in a support unit for electronic modules is described. Coding slides having a pin are provided on the support unit for each plug receptacle so that only those modules having a recess for the pin corresponding to a particular position of the coding slide can be inserted into the particular plug receptacle. This prevents, for example, modules with 24 V direct current supply from being inserted into plug receptacles wired for 230 V alternating current and vice versa.

  • Patent number: 6196878
Abstract: A device for encoding plug-in modules reliably prevents a plug-in module with a 24 V direct voltage supply from being inserted directly to the right of a plug-in module with a 230 V alternating voltage supply in a device for connecting external lines fitted with equidistant, adjacent receptacles for plug-in modules. However, this is possible on the left side, and plug-in modules of the same type can be inserted next to each other in any combination.

  • Patent number: 4193742
Abstract: A vacuum pump assembly is provided which includes a built-in pneumatic valve for closing the suction port of a vacuum pump of the assembly with an auxiliary valve being provided for controlling operation of the pneumatic valve. An electromagnetic valve is utilized as the auxiliary valve and a generator coupled with the shaft of the vacuum pump generates electric current in accordance with the operating stages of the pump in order to control the auxiliary valve.
