  • Publication number: 20210349480
Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling an operable wall configured to move between a deployed condition and a stacked condition. The method includes receiving a voice command from a user via a microphone and initiating a wall movement of the operable wall based on the received voice command. In response to detecting an object with at least one sensor of the plurality of sensors, the wall movement is stopped and an alert is provided to the user that the wall movement has stopped. When the detected object is no longer detected by the at least one sensor, the wall movement is automatically resumed.

  • Publication number: 20210214984
Abstract: A moveable wall includes a panel and a door that pivots with respect to the panel. A moveable bottom panel portion is connected to and can move with respect to a bottom edge of the panel. A panel height adjustment assembly can move the moveable bottom panel portion with respect to the bottom edge of the panel into and out of engagement with a floor surface. The panel height adjustment assembly is activated by a user without the use of tools. A moveable bottom door portion is connected to and can move with respect to a bottom edge of the door. A door height adjustment assembly can move the moveable bottom door portion with respect to the bottom edge of the door so that the moveable bottom door portion is adjacent the floor surface. The door height adjustment assembly is activated by a user without the use of tools.

  • Patent number: 10273687
Abstract: A moveable wall is connected to a structure and is operable to receive power from a power source. The moveable wall includes a first panel is connected to the structure for movement with respect to the structure. The first panel has a first electrical connection and the first panel receives power from the power source and to direct said power to the first electrical connection. A second panel is connected to the structure for movement with respect to the structure. The second panel has a second electrical connection, and the second electrical connection is configured to electrically connect to the first electrical connection to receive said power from the first electrical connection. One of the first electrical connection and the second electrical connection has a degree of freedom to move relative to the respective panel.
