Patent number: 4634383Abstract: Gold powder is inserted in a cavity for the production of fillings in teeth by means of filled gold and this is subsequently hardened mechanically. The moisture sensitivity of this process can be avoided by using a paste made of platelet shaped gold powder with a plastic, organic binder which liquifies at 20.degree. to 45.degree. C. and the mechanical hardening is carried out with ultrasonic.Type: GrantFiled: January 28, 1985Date of Patent: January 6, 1987Assignee: Degussa AktiengesellschaftInventors: Hans-Hermann Beyer, Walter Diehl, Karlheinz Eckert, Kurt Eiermann, Hans-Martin Ringelstein

Patent number: 4610631Abstract: Powder of a ductile, mouth resistant metal such as silver, platinum, palladium, aluminum, or titanium, or an alloy thereof, or a cold weldable, mouth resistant synthetic resin, such as a polyacrylate or methacrylate, polycarbonate or polysulfone is worked to a paste with a plastic organic binder which liquifies at 20.degree. to 45.degree. C. This paste is hardened in the tooth cavity by ultrasonic action.Type: GrantFiled: January 28, 1985Date of Patent: September 9, 1986Assignee: Degussa AktiengesellschaftInventors: Hans-Hermann Beyer, Walter Diehl, Karlheinz Eckert, Kurt Eiermann, Hans-Martin Ringelstein

Patent number: 4516872Abstract: An apparatus for fastening an electrical device into the connecting head of an electrical thermometer includes a fastener arrangement for the base plate of the temperature probe which consists of a screw, a casing and helical spring, with the spring slidable into the casing which is provided with a J-shaped notch or groove and a flange for engaging the helical spring. In the notch there is engaged a pin which is formed in the bore hole of the electrical device. By turning the casing there is accomplished a fastening of the part according with a type of bayonet locking.Type: GrantFiled: November 29, 1983Date of Patent: May 14, 1985Assignee: Degussa AktiengesellschaftInventors: Kurt Eiermann, Thomas Kayser
-
Patent number: 4449402Abstract: There is described an anemometer for the measurement of the flow velocity of gases and liquids particularly for the measurement of the intake air of internal combustion engines whereby the heated resistances are film resistance made of a metal layer and carrier, should have the shortest possible response time. This is attained by so dimensioning the flow paths (6) in the metal layer (1) that the resulting resistance per unit of surface area stands in a constant ratio to the local heat transfer coefficient.Type: GrantFiled: June 14, 1982Date of Patent: May 22, 1984Assignee: Degussa AktiengesellschaftInventors: Kurt Eiermann, Eberhard Horlebein, Kurt Lissmann, Wolfgang Schafer
-
Patent number: 4412449Abstract: An apparatus for the measurement of the flow velocity of gases and liquids, particularly the intake air of combustion engines, includes one or more temperature dependent at least partially heated resistances disposed behind a protective shield which produces a turbulent flow which flow is rendered laminar by interposing a honeycomb of wire screen between the protective shield and the resistance element.Type: GrantFiled: March 10, 1981Date of Patent: November 1, 1983Assignee: Degussa AktiengesellschaftInventors: Kurt Eiermann, Wolfgang Schafer
