  • Patent number: 4561640
Abstract: In wheel suspensions of automotive vehicles, equipped with a wheel suspension system comprising a coil spring, a specific mutual association is required for functional reasons for the individual components of the wheel suspension, forcing constructional compromises in connection with the other structural conditions inherent in the design of the vehicle. In order to be able to avoid in such cases expensive compromise solutions, it is disclosed to have one or several vehicle components, to be correspondingly correlated with the coil spring, project in between turn portions of a spring turn that has a larger lead as compared with the regular lead of the coil spring, or pass such components through the expanded spring section of the coil spring.

  • Patent number: 4366992
Abstract: A wheel cover for passenger motor vehicles with a mounting member fashioned as a wire spring ring. The wire spring ring is provided with radially outwardly projecting bracket members which are guided at the hub cap and are lockable into a recess at a rim of a wheel. Two mutually concentrically arranged hubcap sections are provided which cover the rim of the wheel and form between them an annular vent slot. The hubcap sections are connected to each other by webs. An inner hubcap section covers the wire spring ring and the webs are arranged axially in front of braces of a bracket member, which braces emanate toward the outside from the circular ring shape of the wire ring.

  • Patent number: 3990545
Abstract: A partial lining disk brake with floating saddle for vehicles, particularly for motor vehicles, in which the floating saddle is constituted by an essentially plane frame that is arranged with its longitudinal webs secant-like with respect to the brake disk and which receives in one longitudinal web at least one brake cylinder and in another longitudinal web at least one abutment for the brake lining; the floating saddle is displaceably guided at the brake carrier axially parallel to the brake disk whereby the brake carrier is also constructed frame-like and, insofar as it has any supporting function, is arranged exclusively underneath the floating saddle, the floating saddle engages with downwardly extending projections in corresponding guide elements of the brake carrier to assure an accurate guidance thereof.
