  • Publication number: 20230309737
Abstract: An apparatus for infusing a liquid that may be espresso, generally provides a body having a gear box at one end portion of the body, a lead screw and a hand crank mechanically communicating with the gearbox, and a valve body and plunger carried at an end portion of the lead screw opposite the gearbox for axial, and non-rotational, movement within a medial chamber defined by an insulated pressure cylinder, the pressure cylinder releasably engaged with a removable a portafilter frame, opposite the gearbox, that carries a removable particulate basket therein, and a carafe releasably engaged with the porta filter frame opposite the pressure cylinder, and a tamper for compressing particulate in the particulate basket.

  • Patent number: 10674852
Abstract: An axially collapsible cooking vessel comprises a flexible body having plural circumferentially extending reduced thickness areas spacedly arrayed between an upper peripheral edge and a bottom edge that provide for nested folding of the flexible body axially inwardly and downwardly upon itself; a heat conductive base that is interconnected with a bottom peripheral edge of the flexible body in a fluid tight engagement therewith; a heatsink structurally interconnected to a bottom surface of the heat conductive base, the heatsink having an annular shaped radiator and a circumferentially extending shield extending about the annular shaped radiator; and a removable lid releasable engageable with a top opening defined by the flexible body.

  • Patent number: 9848695
Abstract: A folding portable table having a planar table top with a first half and a hingedly connected second half. A hinge fixedly connected to each table top half along adjoining side portions to allow the planar table top to fold along the hinge. A leg assembly bracket fixedly carried on a bottom surface of each table top half, each leg assembly bracket defining a first concave notch and a second concave notch, each concave notch configured to engage with and positionally maintain a leg assembly. Two leg assemblies for releasable engagement with the leg assembly brackets to support the folding portable table above a supporting surface and for storage adjacent a bottom surface of each table top half when folded.

  • Patent number: 7975874
Abstract: A cooking vessel bracket and handle provides a first handle portion and a second handle portion each having opposing end portions, parallel spaced apart sides and a back defining a channel between the ends. First handle has handle flanges at first end portion and locking seat at second end portion. Second end portion of first handle and first end portion of second handle are pivotally interconnected for first handle to optionally fold into channel of second handle. Spring biased locking pin within channel of first handle protrudes from first handle between the handle flanges for releasable engagement with pot bracket carried by vessel and operatively communicates with a thumb slide for axial movement in channel. Spring biased handle lock in second handle channel releasably engages with locking seat of first handle to secure the first handle and second handle in extended end to end alignment for use.

  • Patent number: 5792086
Abstract: A knee orthosis in which the lateral and medial hinges are articulated asymmetrically. The medial hinge, having a first variable axis of rotation, has a first pair of parallel concentric shells in the shape of the segment of a sphere defining a first opening between them, fastened to the medial portion of the thigh cuff, and three rivets, forming a first equilateral triangle having a center coincident with the first variable axis of rotation, fastened to each shell. The medial hinge also has a first shell in the shape of a segment of a sphere designed to be inserted into the first opening, fastened to the medial portion of the shank cuff and three grooves to receive the three rivets.
