Abstract: A comminution apparatus can include a seal that is configured to interface with a lip seal defined adjacent to sidewall of a housing adjacent to a lever connected to a roller located inside the housing. The lever may extend from the roller within the housing to a position outside of the housing and pass through a seal attached to the housing. The seal can be configured to include a first annular member configured for attachment to the housing adjacent to the lever and a lip seal attached to a housing sidewall adjacent the lever. A second annular member may be attached to the first annular member outside of the housing adjacent a portion of the lever. A deformable annular member may be attached between the first and second annular members and may be deformable to a plurality of different configurations in response to motion of the lever.

Abstract: A power module for the control of electric motors is described which displays an integrated design and provides the following functional units: A power unit with a circuit arrangement on the upper side of a substrate with power semiconductor components. A cooling unit with a cooling medium flowing through it, which has a heat sink with structured surface formed as an insert section onto which the underside of the substrate is directly fitted. A control unit with semiconductor components arranged on a carrier, which is arranged in parallel to and at a given distance from the substrate of the power unit. Contact pins between the substrate of the power unit and the carrier of the control unit for the connection and contacting of the circuit arrangement of the power unit with the semiconductor components on the control unit. A housing body, which encloses the power unit and the control unit.

Abstract: An apparatus for treating flexible printing plates produced by a photochemical method, wherein the upper rollers of the first four pairs of rollers are covered with velour and the lower rollers of these pairs of rollers and both the rollers of the fifth pair of rollers are covered with a textile fabric. With this apparatus it is possible to continuously wash out and clean even flexible printing plates which are very tacky after exposure and have a high relief image.

Abstract: In the rapier or gripper weaving machine a rapier or gripper rod is moved to-and-fro by a drive gear or wheel. An oil lubricating device is provided whose spray nozzle opens in the vicinity of the drive gear or wheel. This spray nozzle is connected to a pressure conduit located at the exit or outlet side of a mixing chamber. In the mixing chamber, a predeterminable quantity of oil taken from an oil reservoir can be admixed with a continuously transmitted flow of compressed air. A timer serves for the periodic activation of an oil dosing and injecting device located upstream or forwardly of the mixing chamber. The dosing action controlled by the timer periodically mixes a predetermined volume of oil into the continuous flow of compressed air being supplied to the spray nozzle. The spray nozzle is a molecular atomizing nozzle.
