    Abstract: A modular merchandising system includes a base assembly and a termination panel assembly disposed in a retail environment. The base assembly includes tubular posts, and at least a first side panel member, a rear panel member, a horizontal surface member coupled to the tubular posts. The horizontal surface member defines a first merchandise display and service area. The first area has at least one of an inventory of merchandise and components, operable by prospective purchasers, for providing services complementary to the inventory of merchandise. The services including one of inputting data retrieved from a previously purchased item from the inventory, editing the data and outputting the inputted data or the edited data. The base assembly also includes at least one drawer. The drawer defines a second merchandise service area having components for providing complementary services. The termination panel assembly includes a pair of tubular posts and a second side panel.

    Abstract: A display device assembly for personal care items to be sampled includes a housing having an upper surface, a seat extending vertically down from the upper surface and a wall extending vertically up from the upper surface. The seat defines an interior cavity. A godet is disposed in the seat. The godet defines an interior cavity for storing the personal care item. The assembly includes a godet cover plate having an opening corresponding to the seat and a hook protruding from a perimeter of the godet cover plate. When assembled the godet cover plate rest on the upper surface of the housing and is held by frictional force of the hook and the wall such that the godet is secured within the seat. A cover is rotatably mounted to the housing and, when assembled, the cover encloses the upper surface to protect the personal care item stored in the godet.

    Abstract: A merchandise display and service system is provided for a retail environment. The system includes a base and an upright support structure coupled to the base that are selectively arranged to define a variety of merchandise display and service areas. The upright support structure may include vertically oriented tubular posts, horizontal cross-bars and panel members, a pair of the cross-bars are coupled to a pair of posts and at least one panel member extends between the pair of posts and cross-bars to separate each merchandise display and service area. The merchandise display and service areas may include a first area having merchandise support hardware coupled to a tubular post or a panel member for supplying an inventory of merchandise offered for sale to prospective purchasers and a second area containing components operable by prospective purchasers of services provided by the components.
