  • Publication number: 20250024260
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media can be operable to facilitate an exchange of messages between an access point and a station, wherein the access point requests a unique identifier from the station. The request can include a network requirements field that indicates that a unique identifier is required for access to the network. The station initiates a secure connection with the access point prior to associating with the access point. The station may either respond with a message declining to provide a unique identifier or respond with a message including a unique identifier to be used by the access point for the station via the secure connection. The response from the station may include additional limitations on the use of the unique identifier by the access point. The access point may enforce different policies against the station depending upon how the station responds to the unique identifier request.

  • Patent number: 10702258
Abstract: A ratcheting inserter device for tensioning a knotless suture anchor includes an outer inserter shaft and an inner inserter shaft having a common longitudinal axis. A ratcheting mechanism provided between the inner inserter shaft and the outer inserter shaft permits rotation of the inner inserter shaft in one direction relative to the outer inserter shaft. The outer inserter shaft has a protrusion at a distal end that is received by an anchor outer sleeve of a suture anchor to prevent relative rotation thereof, and the inner inserter shaft has a projection at the distal end that is received by an inner core of the anchor for rotational movement therewith. The ratcheting inserter device rotates the inner core of the suture anchor to spool and tension suture thread. Thereafter, the ratcheting mechanism is disengaged and the inner inserter shaft is forced axially into the anchor outer sleeve.

  • Patent number: 8276217
Abstract: A personal roll bar device for protecting a user's head, neck and back provides, in the exemplary embodiment, an impact member positioned adjacent the user's back and removably engaged with the user proximal the user's waist, the impact member extending upwardly therefrom above the user's head. A stabilizing means is removably engaged with the user's upper body and slidably coupled with the impact member, and is configured for maintaining the impact member adjacent the user's back during use. Thus, in the event the user experiences a head-first fall while using the device, an upper end of the impact member substantially protects the user's head and neck from initial impact, with the resulting impact forces being distributed through the impact member and substantially absorbed by the user's waist, thereby reducing the risk of burst and compression fractures in the user's neck and back.

  • Publication number: 20080245026
Abstract: A drywall joint construction and method consisting essentially of abutting drywall boards having a lengthwise crack therebetween and a joint finishing system formed within the crack to complete the drywall joint construction such that a flexible layer defines the joint's center-line surface. Where the drywall boards are non-tapered, the resulting crack therebetween may be filled with a flexible compound that also forms the flexible layer and flushes the joint finishing system with the drywall boards.

Abstract: A drywall joint construction and method consisting essentially of abutting drywall boards having a lengthwise crack therebetween and a joint finishing system formed within the crack to complete the drywall joint construction such that a flexible layer defines the joint's center-line surface. Where the edges of the drywall boards are tapered, the resulting channel is filled with a taping compound and a tape forms the flexible layer covering the taping compound so as to flush the joint finishing system with the drywall boards. Where the drywall boards are non-tapered, the resulting slit therebetween may be filled with taping compound and a tape may again form the flexible layer covering the taping compound and flushing the joint finishing system with the abutting drywall boards, or the slit may be filled with a flexible compound that also forms the flexible layer and flushes the joint finishing system with the drywall boards.
