  • Publication number: 20220368049
Abstract: A connecting element for mounting an electrical circuit board to an electrical flat conductor, in particular a busbar, has a flat or substantially flat mounting surface for applying and mounting the connecting element to the circuit board, and a tulip contact for receiving the flat conductor in an electrically contacting manner. The tulip contact includes at least one clamping element and a support element, between which a receptacle for the flat conductor is provided, and wherein the tulip contact preferably extends at a mounting angle greater than 45° and less than 135° with respect to the mounting surface. An electrical circuit board having such a contact element, a terminal block having such an electrical circuit board, and a method for automated mounting of such a terminal block are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20020192139
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of producing aerogels and to an apparatus for carrying out the method. The aerogels are produced semi-continuously by per se known methods in that, following gel formation, the lyogel is transferred to a mobile container for at least two further procedural steps, the container comprising inlets and outlets and in that for these procedural steps, the container is moved to appropriate stations for the supply and discharge of materials, at which stations it is connected to feed and discharge means and in that the procedural steps are carried out there. An apparatus for carrying out the method comprises a container with a container top part and container bottom part, an encircling seal and a bag adapted to be placed into the container, the bag being connected along the opening and at least partially to thickening elements, container top and bottom parts being connected along their periphery in gastight fashion to corresponding parts of a retaining device.

  • Patent number: 5915990
Abstract: A connector for connecting at least one first conductor 5 with another conductor 50, including a connector body 2 having a first end containing a chamber 2a, and a second end containing a through bore 2b communicating with the chamber, a slide member 4 slidably mounted in the connector body chamber, the slide member containing a transverse bore 25 for receiving the first conductor, the slide member including at its end within the chamber a longitudinally projecting pin portion 18, and an electrical terminal 3 slidably mounted on the slide member pin portion, the slide member being slidably displaceable relative to the electrical contact from a first position in which a contact portion 9 of the terminal is remote from the transverse bore to permit the insertion of the first conductor therein, to a second position in which the contact portion extends across the transverse bore in electrical engagement with the first conductor, the free extremity of the contact being received by a corresponding opposed recess fo

  • Patent number: 5490735
Abstract: A method of operating a printer in which, after positioning of a paper web for printing and the printing of the web, the last printed sheet is removed and the leading edge of the web is retracted in a park position. The retraction of the leading edge of the web from this proper printing position until it passes a sensor is detected and this difference in displacement of the drive is stored for correction of advance of the same web from the parking position subsequently.

  • Patent number: 4373073
Abstract: Glycidyl ethers of monohydric or polyhydric phenols of high purity are obtained if hydrogen halide is eliminated from halohydrin ethers of the phenols in aqueous alkalis in the presence of one or more onium compounds selected from quaternary ammonium compounds having at least one aliphatic C.sub.4-22 hydrocarbon radical, quaternary phosphonium compounds and tertiary sulphonium compounds as catalyst, or in the presence of those compounds which form in the reaction medium in situ, before the addition of the alkali, such onium compounds from the halohydrin ethers together with tertiary amines, tertiary phosphines or thioethers. In comparison with the known processes, the rate of dehydrohalogenation can thereby be significantly increased as a result of which an increase in production is achieved. Moreover, significantly purer reaction products are obtained by the avoidance of side reactions.
