Abstract: Mixtures of fiber-reactive dyes in brilliant orange to red shades comprise one or more disazo dyes of the formula ##STR1## and one or more monoazo dyes of the formula ##STR2## in which: D.sup.1 D.sup.2 and D.sup.3, which are identical to or different from one another, are phenyl or 2-naphthol substituted by vinylsulfone, vinylsulfone, M is hydrogen or an alkali metal, m, n and p are zero or 1, X is chlorine, fluorine, hydroxy, cyanoamino or lower alkylamino, with W being a 2-chloro- or 2-fluoro-s-triazin-6-yl radical which is substituted in position 4 by chlorine, hydroxy, phenoxy, morpholino or by a radical corresponding to one of the definitions of D.sup.1 or by a phenyl radical, which may be substituted by sulfo, carboxy, methyl, ethyl, methoxy, ethoxy and/or hydroxy, or D.sup.3 and W are as further described in the specification.

Abstract: Novel dye mixture comprising three to seven fiber-reactive dyes selected from dyes of the below-indicated and defined formulae (1) to (7) with the proviso that the dye mixture contain at least one representative of the formulae (1) and/or (2), at least one representative of the formulae (3) and/or (4) and at least one representative of the formulae (5) and/or (6) and/or (7): ##STR1##

Abstract: There are disclosed azo compounds conforming to formula (1) shown and defined hereinafter, and the preparation thereof. Abstract: Azo compounds containing, as the diazo constituent, 1-sulpho-6-carboxy-2-aminonaphthalene and, as the coupling constituent, substances which contain a residue of the pyrimidine or triazine series which reacts with fibers. The azo compounds possess dye properties and, when used in the usual application fixing process for fiber-reactive dyes, color materials containing carbonamide and/or hydroxyl groups, in particular fibrous material such as wool, synthetic nylon and, in particular, cellulose fiber materials in intense, permanent shades.

Abstract: Monoazo compounds which conform to the general formula (1) given below and are used as fiber-reactive dyes for dyeing carboxamido-containing and/or hydroxy-containing materials, for example wool, synthetic polyamide fibers and in particular cellulose fibers, in fast, predominantly yellowish red, red and orange shades.

Abstract: Diazonium compounds are disclosed which correspond to the formula ##STR1## in which Y' is vinyl, .beta.-hydroxyethyl of an ethyl group having a substituent in the .beta.-position which is eliminated by means of alkali, R is hydrogen, hydroxy, alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, alkoxy having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, carboxy or halogen, n is the number 0, 1 or 2, M is hydrogen or an alkali metal, and An is an anion, and wherein the diazonium group is bound in the meta- or para-position to the nitrogen of the benzotriazole radical.Also disclosed is a process for the preparation of the diazonium compounds. The compounds are useful as diazo components for the preparation of azo compounds by a coupling reaction.

Abstract: Water-soluble azo compounds of the general formula D-N=N-K in which D is a radical of the general formula ##STR1## in which Y denotes the vinyl group or is an ethyl group which is substituted in the .beta.-position by a substituent which can be eliminated by means of alkali, R stands for hydrogen, hydroxy, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, carboxy or halogen, n is the number zero or 1, M is hydrogen or a salt-forming metal atom, and the free bond from the benzene ring to the azo groups is in the meta- or para-position to the nitrogen atom of the benzotriazole radical, and in which K is a radical of a water-soluble coupling component, such as, for example, from the series comprising the aminobenzenes, phenols, naphthols, aminonaphthols, acylaminonaphthols, pyrazolones, aminopyrazoles, acetoacetylarylides and hydroxypyridones.
