    Abstract: In one aspect, the present invention relates to an erosion-and-sediment-control system. The erosion-and-sediment-control system includes a sleeve having a substantially-flat bottom surface and a fiber matrix disposed within, and substantially filling, the sleeve. A flap is formed at a first end of the sleeve. The substantially-flat bottom surface resists movement due to wave action and currents.
