  • Publication number: 20230211072
Abstract: Systems and methods for programming an infusion pump. Parameters provided in an infusion order from a Hospital Information System (HIS) are used by the infusion pump to find a matching entry in the infusion pump drug library. If there is no matching entry in the infusion pump drug library, then a manual mode is populated with the parameters and the pump can accordingly be operated in the manual mode.

  • Patent number: 5644173
Abstract: A method of employing add/shed routines to individual load controllers in a system for a building or plant that has more than one load. It allows for cooperative adjustments of energy usage in accord with prearranged exigency information agree between the utility provider and the building user. Duty cycle time is also adjustable in accord with tier level signal information provided by the utility.

  • Patent number: 5598349
Abstract: A method for employing utility-supplied information relies on two schemes for accommodating such pricing information. All subsystems in a building function based on the individual controller responsible for that subsystem and the user-defined predetermined responses stored in memory. Direct load control and user overrides are allowed. Where appropriate, a setback is applied across subsystems that operate on setpoints, and other loads are add/shed based on their value vis-a-vis interpreted utility pricing information signals.
