Publication number: 20190218018Abstract: A system and method for improved dispensing for protective eyewear components, including frames, lenses and assembled protective eyewear glasses, is described. A housing stores and dispenses the eyewear components through an opening. In an embodiment, the eyewear components may be detachably connected together, such as via perforations, and/or may be coiled in a roll or stacked in serpentine configuration within the housing. Also, in one embodiment, a lever or other mechanism may be coupled to the housing to provide advantageous operations of the dispenser, including assembling and/or dispensing the eyewear components. Accordingly, the system and method provides advantages in that rapid and hygienic dispensing of protective eyewear components may be provided.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 25, 2019Publication date: July 18, 2019Inventors: Katie Umentum, Adam Poppert, Kurt Miller, Vincent E. Portelli, Rob Sweitzer, Brad Binder, William James Evans, Matt Presta

Patent number: 9532617Abstract: A disposable face shield with a shield with a plurality of cuts is described. A foam member is connected to the shield to provide added comfort. The foam member may contain a plurality of openings extending through the member. The openings allow for increased air movement around the shield. The cuts in the shield may be above the foam member to create tabs which may be bent to at least partially cover the openings that extend through the foam member. Additionally, a pair of parallel cuts may be made on either side of the shield, the cuts adjustably engaging an elastic strap. This configuration allows the elastic strap to be comfortably adjusted to conform to a number of different sized heads.Type: GrantFiled: May 5, 2014Date of Patent: January 3, 2017Assignee: TIDI Products, LLCInventors: Kurt Miller, Brian L. Wilt

Patent number: 9433468Abstract: A sheath includes a plurality of layers coupled to one another and configured to cover a medical or dental instrument. The sheath may include an instrument cover segment and a cable cover segment attached to each other. When in a pre-use configuration, such as when packaged, the cable cover segment may define an inside-out position and overlie at least a portion of the instrument cover segment. When in an in-use configuration, such as when the sheath is installed over a medical or dental instrument, the cable cover segment may define an outside-out position and extend longitudinally with respect to the instrument cover segment.Type: GrantFiled: October 3, 2014Date of Patent: September 6, 2016Assignee: TIDI Products, LLCInventors: Brian L. Publication number: 20150230882Abstract: A dental curing light sleeve with a closed distal end, an open proximal end, and an elongated tubular structure with at least three different sections of varying circumferences is disclosed. The sleeve may be created by heat sealing at least two sheets of an impermeable polymeric material. Three sheets of impermeable polymeric material may be used to create the sleeve, with the two outer sheets being substantially the same length and dimensions and the third sheet of a shorter length placed between the two outer sheets. This provides the sleeve with added strength along the majority of the sleeve while still having minimal obstruction of the curing light, which may occur when additional sheets of material are included. Additionally, the sleeve may have a ring section located at the open proximal end, which allows a user to grip the sleeve and apply it to the dental curing light.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 15, 2014Publication date: August 20, 2015Applicant: TIDI Products, LLCInventor: Kurt Miller
