Abstract: The watch according to the present invention includes time-indicating means, time-setting means operable to set the time-indicating means, a setting shaft which is axially movable to first and second positions and arranged to be operatively connected to the time-setting means in the first position. Also included in the watch are rotatable calendar-indicating means provided with a circular series of teeth, a calendar-correcting pinion non-rotatably mounted on the setting shaft, a calendar-correcting shaft, which extends chordally at an angle to the setting shaft and has first and second end portions, first and second pinions non-rotatably mounted on the calendar-correcting shaft on the first and second end portions thereof, respectively.

Abstract: A stepping gear is rotatably mounted with freedom of axial movement and formed with an axially facing shoulder and with teeth and tooth spaces defined by said teeth. A rotatably mounted pawl roller has first and second peripheral rings. A spring urges said pawl roller against said stepping gear. The first peripheral ring is adapted to enter one of said tooth spaces to oppose a rotation of said stepping gear. The second peripheral ring radially overlaps said shoulder to limit the freedom of axial movement of said stepping gear.

Abstract: In a watch having a rotatably mounted date ring, a date-stepping mechanism for advancing the date ring comprises a stationary peripheral first series of teeth, a rotary drive element, a date-stepping finger, which is mounted to be rotatable and radially displaceable relative to said rotary drive element into and out of engagement with said first series of teeth and comprises a stepping pin, a forked end portion having first and second prongs, and a drive pin carried by said first prong.

Abstract: A spring barrel is rotatably mounted on a barrel arbor. A spring core is non-rotatably connected to said barrel arbor and surrounds the same. A coiled spring is disposed in said barrel and has an inner end secured to said spring core and an outer end secured to said barrel. A ratchet wheel is non-rotatably connected to said spring core on one side of said spring and is formed with ratchet teeth. A locking lever is disposed on that side of said ratchet teeth which is remote from said spring and is frictionally coupled to said spring core and has locking tooth means adjacent to said ratchet teeth.
