  • Patent number: 9808926
Abstract: A hand tool for servicing a power tool or other host tool is adapted to be readily mountable to and dismountable from the host tool via magnetic coupling. The hand tool includes a handle body, and a nut driver supported on the handle body. The handle body may define a bifurcated support, and the tool may include a pivot pin extending through the bifurcated support and the nut driver to support the nut driver on the tool. The nut driver defines at least one socket region dimensioned to receive a nut, and further is magnetized for magnetic coupling with a nut positioned within the socket region. In one embodiment, the nut driver houses a discrete magnet for this purpose. A second magnet may be supported on the handle body toward its central portion.

  • Patent number: 9696128
Abstract: A fixed-length measurement accessory includes a rigid body fixed to a base supporting a magnet for magnetically coupling the accessory to a host tool. An opposite end of the rigid body provides a visual marker for alignment with an end of a workpiece. A variable-length accessory includes telescoping rigid bodies joined by a coupler. One end of one rigid body is joined to a base supporting a magnet for magnetically coupling the accessory to the host tool. The coupler houses a friction member creating light friction resisting adjustment of a combined length of the rigid bodies. An opposite end of the other rigid body provides a visual marker for alignment with an end of the workpiece. Markings are provided on at least one of the rigid bodies for indicating a combined length of the rigid bodies at multiple relative positions.

  • Publication number: 20050067227
Abstract: An automatic hydraulic stabilizing system for a vehicle automatically extends jacks of the vehicle to achieve a level orientation of the vehicle in an automatic mode or a manual mode. After a level orientation is achieved, the system can be operated to further extend the jacks to elevate the vehicle above the initial level orientation in an automatic mode while maintaining the vehicle level. The system can also retract the jacks in an automatic mode while maintaining the vehicle level.
