  • Patent number: 8794422
Abstract: A module conveying device including a main conveying mechanism conveying products in a main conveying direction between an input location and an output location of the main conveying mechanism. The output location can be swiveled between two vertically arranged first transfer positions. A transverse mechanism accepts the conveyed products that likewise includes an input location and an output location, which input location is positioned in one of the two first transfer positions and the output location of the transverse conveying mechanism is positioned in a second transfer position. The output location of the main conveying mechanism can be swiveled between at least one additional first transfer position and the two first transfer positions. Each additional first transfer position is positioned in the event of one input location of an additional transverse conveying mechanism.

  • Patent number: 8342311
Abstract: A store-feeding device including a feeding conveyer with a belt catch that can be positioned in an infinitely variable fashion in a horizontal and/or vertical direction. The belt catch can be controlled by a controller such that products can be conveyed from a production station directly to the packaging station by a conveyer. If the packaging station is fully utilized or stopped, the belt catch can be positioned such that the products can be placed in the store. A further conveyer can be loaded with rejected or faulty series of products. For this purpose, the belt catch can be retracted and lowered.

  • Patent number: 8109380
Abstract: An intermediate storage including an intake station and an output station, two vertical conveyors, and two horizontal conveyors forming a conveying circuit with the two vertical conveyors. All conveyors are in a form of chain conveyors. The two vertical conveyors each include chains including catches and are arranged in pairs, each with an individual chain drive. Level differences which occur in operation between transferring edgers of unit load suppliers and carrier plates can be identified and corrected immediately. To keep a mutual gap between successive gondolas small, the gondola of a gondola pair that is running ahead is deflected sideways in the region of the deflection. A collision with the following gondola is thus reliably avoided.

  • Publication number: 20100307889
Abstract: The intermediate storage (1), which is equipped with an intake station (2) and an output station (3), has two vertical conveyors (4, 5) and two horizontal conveyors (6, 7), which form a conveying circuit with the latter. All conveyors are in the form of chain conveyors. The two vertical conveyors (4, 5) each have chains which are provided with catches (23, 24) and arranged in pairs, each with an individual chain drive. Level differences which occur in operation between the transferring edges (K) of the unit load suppliers (25, 32) and the carrier plates (26) can be identified and corrected immediately. To keep the mutual gap between successive gondolas (60, 61) small, the gondola (60) of a gondola pair (60, 61) which is running ahead is deflected sideways in the region of the deflection (10). A collision with the following gondola (61) is thus reliably avoided.

  • Patent number: 7178658
Abstract: The store arranged between production and packaging having an endless, circulating pair of chains on which the product-carrying gondolas are suspended for swinging action. The pair of chains, which are guided on a vertical section and on a horizontal section, are guided over an upper deflecting arrangement and a lower deflecting arrangement. Each deflecting arrangement is mounted so it can be displaced in a linear guide. A tensioning cable has its ends fastened on the two deflecting arrangements and keeps the pair of chains tensioned in each operating position. As they pass through the upper deflecting region, the filled gondolas are deflected radially by crank-like suspension mechanisms arranged on both sides, so adjacent gondolas can be operated with spacing between them, which in the vertical regions of the gondola path, corresponds to the spacing between two adjacent shelves.

Abstract: The store arranged between production (P) and packaging (V) has an endless, circulating pair of chains (6) on which the product-carrying gondolas (5) are suspended for swinging action. The pair of chains (6), which is guided on a vertical section (I) and on a horizontal section (II), is guided over an upper deflecting arrangement (9) and a lower deflecting arrangement (10). Each deflecting arrangement is mounted such that it can be displaced in a linear guide. A tensioning cable (14a) has its ends fastened on the two deflecting arrangements and keeps the pair of chains (6) tensioned in each operating position. As they pass through the upper deflecting region, the filled gondolas (5) are deflected radially by crank-like suspension mechanisms (17) arranged on both sides, so that adjacent gondolas can be operated with a spacing between them which, in the vertical regions of the gondola path, corresponds to the spacing (b) between two adjacent shelves (4).

  • Publication number: 20050232732
Abstract: The intermediate store has an input station for loading and an output station for unloading transport racks circulating in buffer zones between these two stations. The two stations each have a vertical conveyor for the transport racks, each of the two vertical conveyors being equipped with two pairs of chains driven independently of one another. The two pairs of chains in the input station alternately transport one transport rack each stepwise past a loading device and subsequently, after being decoupled from synchronous operation, transport them further, with the result that loading of the transport racks without interruption is permitted. The output station is formed analogously so that there too there are no interruptions between the emptying of two successive transport racks.

  • Publication number: 20030167101
Abstract: The apparatus serves for transporting articles of the same type, for example chocolate bars, and has a feed conveyor, a removal conveyor with a transverse conveyor running transversely to the end section of the feed conveyor, and a compensation device for arranging articles fed at regular or irregular time intervals by the feed conveyor at regular distances on the removal conveyor. The compensation device has two buffer stores and transfer means for transferring articles from the feed conveyor into the stores and from these onto the transverse conveyor. The two buffer stores are arranged together in a frame and have a plurality of intermittently movable storage units which are fastened by being suspended from a chain pair running vertically over a plurality of deflection rollers and each form a gondola train over at most half the length of the chain pair. The two chain pairs and hence also the storage units are arranged flush with one another and are each driven by means of a shaft, i.e.
