  • Patent number: 6619187
Abstract: A radial piston pump has a support ring disposed on an eccentric longitudinal section of a pump shaft for rotation relative to the pump shaft. The support ring has at least three mutually offset flat support faces uniformly distributed about the circumference and adapted to contact piston shoes connected with pistons that extend radially from the pump shaft. The piston shoes engage from behind with radial flanges support rails disposed on the support ring. Spring-supported pressure rings prevent the piston shoes from rotating relative to the support ring. The pistons extend through guide bushing with an outside diameter that is greater than the diameter of the radial flanges and also greater than the outside diameter of the pressure rings.

  • Patent number: 5273378
Abstract: Support column for underground mining and tunnel construction, composed of a load-bearing outer shell and a core of a substance which is to be introduced in the flowable state and is capable of hardening. The upper column component can be slid out of the lower column component and is secured against being slid into the lower column component by a ring-shaped spring element. Active clamping forces can be introduced by means of clamping devices which can be mounted on the outside.

  • Patent number: 5088796
Abstract: A seam-mining apparatus has an excavating trough disposed ahead of a conveying trough and an endless chain passes over direction-change devices between these troughs. The excavating and/or conveying tools carried by the chain are articulated and formed with a head portion, an intermediate portion and an end portion. The intermediate portion is connected to the head portion and end portion by pin joints whose axes are perpendicular to the chain and to the bottom of the conveyor trough, and hinge joints whose axes are orthogonal to the axes of the pin joints. The guides for the head and end portions of the troughs extend into the direction-change regions.

  • Patent number: 4883322
Abstract: The apparatus for removing stratified outcropped minerals and for transporting these minerals parallel to the mining face or breast comprises a digging portion and a conveyor portion as well as a chain conveyor guided positively in them with digging tools and carrier members. The digging portion and the conveyor portion are assembled together from a plurality of pan-like members. Each pan of the conveyor portion comprises a conveying trough made from two guide pieces which are mirror images of each other attached to a base plate and from two identical bent plates. The guide pieces engage in members in the bent plates and are clamped with them by clamping plates on the top side of the bent plates. The digging portion has a guide piece indentical with the guide piece of the conveyor portion. A basin-like plate of the digging portion is pivotably mounted by a welded substantially circular cross section strip on the breast wall side of the conveyor portion.

  • Patent number: 4352602
Abstract: A roof support for a mine gallery which extends at a relatively large angle to the horizontal comprises an upper, a middle and a lower roof support unit arranged adjacent each other and having each a pair of elongated transversely spaced skids rigidly connected by bridges to each other and engaging the sole of the inclined mine gallery. An abutment beam likewise engaging the sole is arranged inclined to the elongation of the skids adjacent to the face of the gallery to be mined and connected to the skids of the middle roof support unit by a pair of flat sole plates rigid with the beam and tiltable about horizontal axes with respect to the skids, whereas the upper and the lower roof support unit are connected to the beam by flat elongated sole engaging end members connected to the beam pivotable about vertical pivot axes. In this way ample space is provided beneath the roof of the mine gallery between the beam and the roof support units to permit mining of coal seams of small height.
