Abstract: The present invention provides methods and systems of identifying suppliers of applicable modes of transport that meet specified business requirements, providing a means to compare and evaluate these suppliers. Some forms of the invention provide computer-based methods for assisting a logistics decision of a potential customer, the method comprising the steps of: receiving at least one logistics related requirement from the potential customer, calculating at least one suitable logistics option from a plurality of supplier-provided logistic options, and providing an output of at least one logistics option in a form readable by the potential customer.
