  • Publication number: 20150021429
Abstract: The invention relates to an aircraft (10) for conveying one or more recording apparatuses, such as recorders, sensors, cameras, infrared cameras, microphones or the like, through the air. For this purpose, the aircraft (10) has one or more rotors (11) which control the flight movement, as well as a holder (12) for the recording apparatus. Moreover, a framework (13) is provided, on which all of the elements can be attached directly or indirectly. The invention now proposes that the framework (13) includes a body (20) with at least four arms (21) bent inward (24), at the ends (22) of which in each case at least one rotor (11) is arranged. Moreover, a bridge (30) is provided which, at its first end (31), comprises a holder (12) for the recording apparatus, wherein a counterweight (34) is provided at its second end (32). The bridge (30) is gimbaled with its center-of-gravity axis (33) via a central module (40) on the center-of-gravity axis (23) of the body (20) (FIG. 1).

  • Patent number: 3990732
Abstract: A releasable thread clamping device having a hollow knotter mandrel rotatable about its longitudinal axis and a knotter needle made of resilient material mounted within the knotter mandrel and supported for axial displacement relative to the knotter mandrel. The knotter needle has a free end which engages under tension the inner wall of the knotter mandrel. A lifting needle is provided and is supported for movement parallel to the longitudinal axis thereof and has adjacent its free end a first inclined surface extending at an acute angle relative to the longitudinal axis thereof. The knotter needle has a second inclined surface which is axially aligned with the first inclined surface on the lifting needle.

  • Patent number: 3974551
Abstract: Thread clamp for a warp end tying-in machine. In such a clamp, cam control means mechanically related to the remainder of the machine are provided for positively opening the clamps in order that the thread may be inserted therein without hindrance. The clamp is thereupon permitted to close and the mechanical means retracted therefrom in order that the clamp may be held in closed condition solely by the tension of adjustable resilient means applied thereto. With the mechanical means remaining inoperative with respect to the clamp, same is moved through a conventional operating cycle and back to its point of beginning. Mechanical means are thereupon again activated to open the clamp against the urging of said spring whereby the thread may be removed without restriction therefrom.
