Abstract: A headlight for a vehicle operating in accordance with the projection principle, the headlight has a reflector, a light source, a lens through which a light reflected by the reflector passes, at least one partially light-permeable element which surrounds the lens at least over a part of its periphery, so that light which is emitted by the light source and not engaged by the reflector passes through and is collected by the at least one element, wherein, the reflector and the lens being formed so that light which is reflected by the reflector and passes through the lens forms an upper bright-dark limit, the element being formed at least locally as a fresnel lens with ring-shaped optical profiles, and further optical profiles arranged at least in a part of a beam path of the light passing through the element and deviating the light so that it illuminates a region in front of the vehicle above the bright-dark limit formed by the light reflected by the reflector and passing through the lens.

Abstract: An illumination device for a vehicle has a light source, a reflector which reflects a light emitted by the light source so that the reflected light exits the illumination device in a first light outlet direction, the reflector being interrupted at least in one region, and at least partial light-permeable element arranged in the region and formed so that the light emitted by the light source passes through the light-permeable element and exits the illumination device in a second light outlet direction which deviates from the first light outlet direction.

Abstract: A motor vehicle light, especially a signal light comprises a light source, a reflector, a closure disc for closing the motor vehicle light from outside, a collective lens device arranged between the reflector and the closure disc, a screen device arranged between the collective lens device and the closure disc and having light impermeable regions and light permeable regions. The collective lens device directs light which is reflected from the reflector to the light permeable regions. The screen device is formed reflective at its side facing the closure disc, the screen device at least at its side facing the closure disc being curved concavely.

Abstract: In a headlight of a motor vehicle, having a housing and a diffusing lens enclosing with the housing an interior of the headlight, the interior is vented by means of a conduit exposed to air streams caused by travelling of the motor vehicle. The conduit is formed as an integrated part of the diffusing lens made of plastics.
