  • Patent number: 8479657
Abstract: In order to facilitate entering or exiting in a cable railway system, at least one part of the floor of the passenger region adjoining the passenger gondolas is formed by a transport device, which is configured to transport the passengers located thereon in the direction of movement of the passenger gondolas. The transport device can be formed by one or more conveyor belts, which follow the path of the passenger gondolas for a distance such that the passenger can comfortably change over from the transport device to the gondolas.

  • Patent number: 8443734
Abstract: The seat surface of a chair of a chair lift can be pivoted with the aid of a pivot mechanism. Thus, the seat surface can, while a passenger is sitting thereon, be pivoted in such a way that it extends so as to descend, or descend more markedly, toward the rear edge of the seat part. Passengers enter automatically, and independently of their size and sitting position on the chair, into a stronger, stable back position, thereby reliably counteracting slipping in the direction of the front edge of the seat part and thus slipping-through between the seat surface and transverse hoop.

  • Patent number: 7984678
Abstract: A transporting means of a chair lift or of a cableway system has a safety bar, a device for closing the safety bar, an energy storage device, a device for charging the energy storage device and a blocking device which prevents the energy storage device from being charged. The blocking device can be activated and deactivated. The opening of the safety bar is prevented in the active state of the blocking device. The blocking device prevents the safety bar from being opened over at least part of the distance covered by the safety bar between its fully open position and its fully closed position, in particular over the entire distance.

  • Patent number: 7500552
Abstract: A transporting device, for conveying goods over a conveying route, includes a transporting belt and at least one rope-like traction element for exerting a traction force upon the transporting belt. The transporting belt follows the traction element, at least along a transporting section of the conveying route, and is in communication there with the traction element through a coupling. The coupling has at least one spring element which, in the aforementioned transporting section, encompasses the traction element, with spring effect, for the creation of a force coupling.

  • Publication number: 20070246993
Abstract: In order to prevent individuals from sliding or falling out of a chair of a chairlift, irrespective of their size and sitting position, the seat surface has regions of increased slip resistance. Either the seat surface has a higher level of slip resistance in the region of its front edge than in the region of its rear edge or the region of the seat surface has a higher level of slip resistance than the backrest. It is ensured, in particular, that smaller persons, who slide into the region of the front edge of the seat surface, are held securely.

  • Publication number: 20020043829
Abstract: A method to close a bubble top (1) for a chairlift having a bubble top (1) that has two final position whereby one first position corresponds to the open position and whereby the other second position corresponds to the closed position. The bubble top (1) is driven to a third partially closed position (20) lying between the first and second position during departure of the chair from a station whereby the handle (5) to be actuated by the user (2) to close the bubble top (1) is moved essentially in front of the user's main body axis so that the user (2) may close the bubble top (1) from a more favorable position, physically.

  • Publication number: 20020038497
Abstract: A fastening arrangement (1) for sheet material of an enclosure [bubble top] of a chairlift has an enclosure frame (1) that is provided with a slot (31) receiving the sheet material of an enclosure. Into said slot (31) there may be inserted a one-piece (in a cross-sectional view) profiled rubber element (2), which surrounds the edge of the sheet material and which consists of softer material (4) at the bottom of said slot (31) than the material at the upper section (3) that engages the enclosure frame. Thus, the sheet material of an enclosure can be held in place directly and any application of synthetic foam or adhesive to the rubber seal becomes unnecessary.

  • Publication number: 20020030395
Abstract: A bench seat for a chair of a chairlift having a cross support bar (2) fastened to a supporting frame member (1, 9) of the chair. The front bench seat element (5) is supported by said cross support bar (2). The bench seat is furthermore provided with a backrest (10). The bench seat element is a one-piece bench seat top (5) that is hinged on its sides (6, 7, 8) to said supporting frame member (1, 9). Said backrest (10) is designed as a load-carrying laminated element, which is hinged on its sides (11, 12) to said supporting frame member (1, 9). Said backrest (10) is thereby provided with a transversely running supporting surface (13) at its lower region onto which the rear section (14) of said bench seat top (5) may be braced against. The bench seat may be constructed thereby in a simpler manner to hold a varying number of (required) seats since standard parts may be used at each side. Care and maintenance are simplified through the folding ability of the backrest and the bench seat top.

  • Patent number: 5452662
Abstract: A device for coupling a ferry, such as a gondola or chair, to the hoisting r load cable of an overhead cableway system includes a clamping body with rollers. A first clamping jaw is rigidly secured. A second clamping jaw can be swiveled relative to the first clamping jaw. The second clamping jaw is located on one end of a two-armed clamping lever on whose other end a control element, such as a cam roller, is provided. When the control elements cooperates with an actuator, such as a cam rail, the clamping lever is pivoted relative to the clamping body counter to the action of at least one torsion spring. That pivoting causes the second clamping jaw to reach its open position. A toggle joint or elbow joint is provided which connects the torsion spring with the clamping lever.
