  • Patent number: 10779922
Abstract: An oral irrigator handle through which fluid flows to a tip is described. Fluid flows from a fluidically connected hose to the tip during irrigate mode, and fluid flow may be interrupted by selecting a pause mode. The handle includes a mechanically controlled actuator for selecting the pause mode. The actuator may be operably connected to a shuttle valve that is positioned to block fluid flow to the tip during pause mode but not during irrigate mode. The handle may also include a swivel assembly. The swivel assembly prevents rotational movement of either the handle or the hose from being transmitted to the other, such that rotation of the handle will not affect the position of the hose.

  • Patent number: 7340360
Abstract: A method for efficiently and accurately measuring a maximum Vcc calculation or failure rate and lifetime projection for microprocessors and other semiconductor products analytically scales low voltages applied to thinner oxides to thicker oxides. The expanded voltage window that is closer to the use voltage is obtained thereby to provide accurate voltage acceleration factors and max Vce extraction.

  • Publication number: 20070203439
Abstract: An apparatus for providing a pressurized water stream for cleaning gums and teeth. The embodiment includes a base unit defining a cavity. The cavity contains a pump, which may move pressurized water from a reservoir to a tip in fluid communication with the pump. A flow control knob may be turned to selectively adjust the water pressure supplied by the tip between a minimum and a maximum value. The reservoir may be removed from the base unit so that it may be filled with the fluid. The reservoir may support a container for storing tips or other items. Fluid may flow from the reservoir and ultimately into the tip to provide oral irrigation and/or cleaning of the teeth, gums, and tongue.

  • Patent number: 7155359
Abstract: For determining a failure characteristic of a semiconductor device, a leakage current characteristic is measured for the semiconductor device to determine a plurality of stress bias zones. A respective set of parameters that define a respective failure characteristic of the semiconductor device is determined for each of the stress bias zones such that the failure characteristic is accurately determined for a wide range of operating voltages.

  • Publication number: 20060053210
Abstract: A semi-automatic mapping of a library definition to a simple network management protocol (SNMP) management information base (MIB). By exposing the internal data needed to remotely access arbitrary user space libraries as SNMP data structures which can be directly modified over the network, the internal data, its operations, and usages operations can be modeled remotely.

  • Publication number: 20050255427
Abstract: An oral hygiene device is disclosed having at least two motors to simultaneously vibrate and impart motion upon the head portion of the oral hygiene device, most beneficially at the tip. A first motor is positioned in the handle portion of the device to impart a first frequency of movement to the tip. A second motor is located in a head portion, generally in a shaft of or an oral hygiene attachment to the device, to impart at least a second frequency of movement onto the tip. When both the first and second motors are activated, the resulting movement of the tip of the device may include complex, substantially random movements, depending in part on the frequencies at which the motors are operating.

  • Patent number: 6798230
Abstract: Aspects for increasing accuracy in predicting HCI degradation in semiconductor devices are described. The aspects include a gated ring oscillator structure utilized to perform HCI degradation testing with controlling of the gated ring oscillator structure to isolate voltage acceleration degradation from frequency degradation directly during the HCI degradation testing. Further included is a plurality of ring oscillators coupled in series, and first and second control logic for the plurality of ring oscillators for enabling selection of gated operation of the plurality of ring oscillators, wherein each ring oscillator performs a same number of transitions to allow an accurate assessment of HCI degradation based solely on voltage acceleration.

  • Patent number: 6516450
Abstract: A variable design tool utilizes memory units to determine at which point a design rule fails. The variable design tool can provide a bit map indicating the points of failures for particular rules. The bit map can also be utilized to determine misalignment errors. The memory cells, typically SRAM units are arranged in 4×4 matrices which are arranged in four 16×16 matrices.
