  • Patent number: 10775034
Abstract: A connectorized lighting system for a base structure such as a deck pad, comprising a base structure having an a retaining cavity disposed in and running along a surface of the base structure, a lighting element inserted into the retaining cavity, and connectorized light source that provides electrical power to the lighting element, exhibits a low profile, and may be removable and replaceable without tools. The base structure may be a deck pad on a boat or a covering for a floor, spa, spa cabinet, pool, or any other surface. The deck may comprise EVA or PE foam material, and may comprise one or more layers of sheet material. The retaining cavity may comprise a window and bevels for visibility. A lighting element may be held in place by forces created when the compressible material of the base structure is compressed by pressing the lighting element into the retaining cavity.

  • Publication number: 20200190939
Abstract: A fault-tolerant system relieves pressure of fluid flow in a drilling system. Redundant pressure relief valves can open to relieve fluid flow from a discharge outlet of a manifold when over pressurization is detected. A hydraulic arrangement operably connected to the redundant relief valves provides hydraulic motive force in redundant hydraulic circuits respectively to the redundant relief valves. The redundant circuits are cross-connected to one another. Pressure transducers distributed in the hydraulic arrangement measures operational pressures of the hydraulic arrangement. Redundant controllers can both control the hydraulic motive force provided in the redundant circuits respectively to the redundant relief valves to open and close the relief valves in response to the pressure level measurement.

  • Publication number: 20200056766
Abstract: A structure for retaining an object such as a lighting element, comprising a base structure having at least one surface and a retaining cavity disposed in a surface of the base structure, wherein the retaining cavity cross section comprises opposing tapered window retention surfaces and opposing bevel surfaces disposed between the surface opening and each of the opposing tapered window retention surfaces. A lighting element may be disposed in the retaining cavity. The retaining cavity may have a cross section that is complementary to a cross section of an object to be retained. A lighting system for a base structure comprising a plurality of stacked planar sheets, having a lighting element disposed between a top sheet and the next planar sheet below the top sheet in the stack of sheets, oriented such that a portion of the light emitted by the lighting element passes through said top sheet.

  • Patent number: 10239092
Abstract: A method for printing on a low surface energy substrate. The low surface energy substrates may be flexible low surface energy substrates. A primer is applied to the surface of the low surface energy substrate using a spray coating system. A pressure pot spray system that oscillates as the substrate passes underneath it on a conveyor system may be used. The primer is then allowed to air dry. Once dry, a printer can be used to print a graphic, design or other ornamental feature on the primed surface of the substrate. Once printing is complete, a clear coating is applied to the substrate and then cured.
